Chance eau fraiche is my favorite Chanel and my go to summer fragrance. It’s so well blended. It’s uplifting throughout even with some woody notes to ground it. I live in the heat and it stands up and doesn’t fade like some other summer fragrances. It’s a staple in my fragrance wardrobe and when I finish my 50ml I will be getting a larger size. It’s simple and perfect.
This EDT embodies the concept of carefree chic. When I smell it, I can't help but picture a very posh young lady sunbathing on a yacht on a sunny late afternoon in St Tropez or Portofino. It smells woody, lemony and a bit masculine but oh so luxurious! Something you'd smell in a boutique 5 star hotel spa or in the bathroom of a very wealthy woman who has glowing healthy skin, loves nature and looks effortlessly gorgeous.
I just purchased this one. I love it! Your description of a sparkling stream is spot on! It’s such a lovely scent.

Love this fragrance, it really lasts all day and well into the next. Spraying it on my robe in the morning, I’m able to notice it every time I put it on throughout the evening and night, and well into the next morning. Makes me feel so elegant and beautiful. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I’ve loved it’s scent for over a decade now, but it’s always fun to hear someone else’s take on it.
I adore this fragrance. I ended up blind buying a large bottle, and I'm so glad I did! I live in a warmer climate so I have plenty of opportunities to wear it too. I pretty much love the entire Chance line, but this one is my favorite.

This is one of my favorite scents for summer and for a fresh fragrance it is beast-mode in its silage on me and lasts a long time. It gets a lot of compliments. Trying to find another freshie now for spring/summer that is as strong as this.

Like you said it’s not dramatic or necessarily new in type, and I agree. It’s like an old familiar cashmere cardigan; comfortable and uplifting.

You encouraged me to just buy a bottle a big one! I also went through so many samples of this! But my husband found it too masculine for me! But I don’t feel that I just feel the same way you feels when I wear it very fresh happy uplifting scent… I will just buy it for me and my happy scent feelings 😍😬👍

I totally love this one, but I wish it lasted longer.
I justgot the 150 ml bottle and I am supper happy with it. I was trying it in short trips and was amazed.Only downside itneeds to be reapplied.Hence I got a big bottle Thanks!!

This is my fave over eau vive thou not a love at first sniff. Just like you, I love it more as I wear it more. 🙂 fresh and green with Chanel DNA.

To me, this one smells like Absorbine Jr. muscle relaxer. Not always in the mood for that, but sometimes it’s a nice, bracing change of pace from my usual gourmands.
What about lasting power, can it reach 5-6h?
I love it so much, when my 100ml is almost done I want the 150ml❤wish it would last all day but I don't mind respraying:)
I am into freshies and citruses, but I feel this one goes a little too masculine on me. From the same range I think I like more the Eau Vive :)
Before I had a perfume collection and changed scents based on my mood this was my signature spring/ summer scent so I’ve been through several bottles. Now that I have lots of perfumes it remains a staple in my collection. I also like layering chance tendre with this one as well.

Versense is nice too for the summer. But to me the versense is prettier and softer . I get a completely different vibe from chance eau fraiche. I love them both.

@@elizabethw.454 I live in Florida which is usually hot and humid and I use both. I personally find chance eau fraiche to be more refreshing and longer lasting. But they are both nice, I use them both, and I hope to keep both in my collection.
I will say that chance eau fraiche is woodier and may not be everyone’s cup of tea

Such a beautiful fragrance! I got this one as a Christmas gift from my hubby. I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so that I can wear it more often. It lasts much longer on my skin than most other fresh fragrances. 💚
