Imagine leaving anything to Renji of all people :) Also Ichigo basically doesn't need to use the mask anymore cause (I assume you guys have finished Fullbring arc) his hollow powers have been merged with his Fullbring powers. Since Fullbring is a type of hollow power itself. That's why his shihakusho has those white Fullbring markings and his shikai and bankai shape changed a little.

Ahhhhh interesting Haze.. We didn't even catch that those two powers fused. If that's the case rip white.. We loved masked Ichigo and he will be missed. Anyways thanks for the clarification and glad you explained that because yes we did finish the fullbring arc. And no we didn't come to the conclusion that his powers combined.

Mayuri in his lab earlier was analyzing Sasakibe's sealed zanpakuto here you can even see it in that glass tube in the background. he realized it's not a sealing tactic but a flatout robbing the Bankai of shinigamis. since y'all already told us viewers y'all saw ep 5 too well ya it means they can use Bankai too if they want lol
& ya Quilge used Ransotengai which is what Uryu used vs Mayuri to move his paralyzed limbs/body like a puppet on strings so he can continue fighting. obvs Quilge knows how to do this too but it does tears/rips away your body until you turn to dust so it's a desperate last resort for sure
btw even tho Bankai Ichigo was def overpowering Quilge & flinging him around Hueco Mundo lol he also had his defensive Blut up the whole time so he wasn't getting bodily cut up/looking way worse tbh.
but he had to focus on keeping the defense up the whole time & couldn't use offensive Blut to do any successful attacking back so he was in a helpless, frustrating predicament. in the manga Quilge also says Ichigo's just too fast in his Bankai in his head
Nice Ichigo is fast af boiiiii. But yeah we remember that Uryu used that technique and it's very straining on their bodies. But tearing the body to dust is insane lol. And yeah we don't even wanna talk about episode 5 because of Byakuya.. Also we can see why Quilge was so frustrated not being able to do anything at all against our MC. It would be nerve racking if you were in a prolonged fight but knew you had no attack.
Ichigo doesn't need his mask anymore guys as he's essentially always "wearing" it now be it in shikai or bankai state because of his Fullbring infused together in his drip now. obvs the tattoos & gloves, his blade's bottom serrated edge/parts etc all exist now because it's the Fullbring mixed together in it currently
& as you learned in the previous Arc by Ginjo that Fullbring powers have a large Hollow influence/source/origin etc. there's even more to where Fullbring powers further originate from but I can't reveal that to y'all/it's spoilery af but ya y'all just need to know about the hollow part lol
Thanks for that clarification Sopa! We did finish the fullbring arc but didn't put together that they fused, which makes sense though.. Nice to know he's "wearing" the mask! Masked Ichigo>

I wouldn't say it is _by a lot,_ but yes, Urahara is smarter. Mayuri isn't very far behind though and is probably the second smartest person in the entire series with really only 2-3 other people that are on their level like Aizen and such. Mayuri also seems likely to be at least a bit younger than Urahara and focuses a bit more on chemistry, surgical modification, and direct biological experimentation than Urahara who does a lot more with stuff directly related to souls and reishi itself (including things that affect reiatsu, integrating kido into tech, studying the barrier between Shinigami/Hollows/Humans, making his own pathways between world, forcing Zanpakuto spirits out for Bankai training, etc...) And on top of that they both have quite a lot of intelligence feats in regards to other sciences and engineering and a decent amount of crossover with things like artificial souls and gigai technology knowledge.

Captains Kurako and Ukitake don't use their bankais. There are also 3 captains that have Resurrectiones as Vizards, which are a bankai equivalent. Then there's Kenpachi. And the captain commander.

Two episodes in a row of Mayuri calling out other Shinigami doing dumb shit. First, he straight up tells Yamamoto of all people that the entire thing is his fault for not finishing the job 1000 years ago or listening to his advice about the potential danger of the Quincy after the Soul Society Arc and now in this episode he's furious at _four_ damn Captains using their Bankai despite knowing the Quincy have a way to negate them instead of either just letting only _one_ person take the hit for the team or just playing defense and waiting a little longer for him to figure things out. Smh. 😅
He's crazy as hell, but I fucking love Mayuri. He knows what he's talking about when it comes to research and if he's acting serious, you should be concerned about the situation and listening to what he has to say!
We as a group did not fw Mayuri in the beginning. We are now with him and glad that he is on our side! He is very smart and we agree that the 4 captains should've waited but think that they all thought of the same idea at the same time. WHICH IS CRAZY UNLUCKY TO HAVE HAPPENED! Also when Mayuri was talking to Yama, the music was hitting different because he knew he was correct in what he was saying. Upsetting that Yama didn't trust Mayuri's words but now we are in a situation lol. Mayuri has definitely grown on us Citro! Hope you enjoy the reactions to come!
