    Na then Frank you have saved my Bacon ! I smashed my leg in August in a motorbike accident and decided to hang the old boots up! I've been laid up wondering what could ever replace riding to the fantastic places we have here in the uk until I stumbled across your vids last week!...you and ya cronies have inspired me and I can't wait for the day I'm recovered enough to take some training and get myself a kayak and get out and bob about , top work fella

      +Ray mo Well, I'm honoured Ray. It is indeed a great low impact activity, but getting the boats launched can be a challenge, it's always easier with 2 people, but once your in, no problem. You'll need to try before you buy though, and see firstly about getting in and out, then of course how the boat handles. Good luck with it all, and keep us posted with your progress, we're all one big happy family, well I am anyway, ha ha.

    Totally stunning. Peter Kay morphed with Ray Mears. The potential for harm to the person nags at me. How do square that one. You are obviously cool with your own company (ignoring the viral aspect) but what about a buddy watching your back.
    Your filming is quite inspiring and I will keep returning to this vid. well done that man.

      +The Lordoftheringpull Plenty more of this to come, plus an unspoiled 17th century harbour, and the Castle that inspired Bram Stroker to write Dracula.

      +Steve Midz The first bit of the trip was a real surprise, having viewed from a distance through the binos, I knew it had potential, but I was extremely surprised how amazing it was.

    Your videos are some of the best things I've found on the internet. My wife and I watch them and dream of doing what you do! Thanks so much. Do you make the music yourself? If so, very tasty and well suited for the scenery and mood.

      +AnthonyMichelle Fazzari Thanks Anthony and Michelle, you clearly possess the very height of good taste, ha ha. Yes I do all the music, and it's become a great part of the whole thing for me. I spend a hell of a lot of time with the music, but I love doing it. Part of the problem is that the microphones on my recording studio are so sensitive, I have to really choose my time carefully to record. If you listen carefully you may hear all kinds in the background. If you like what you see, why not have a go yourself? If you choose your location, and day it can be SO easy. You'll see, I never go out unless conditions are right. With a bit of planning, and correct judgement it can be a doddle.

    next time you wish to leave your lawfully acquired conveyance, without the trustees trying to earn wages off it, maybe try a note in the window pointing out the 1988 road traffic enforcement act states in article 90 that it only applies to vehicles in crown service...peace

      +umbongoapg Saay whaaat? No comprendo Umbongo, do explain.

    • @umbongoapg
      @umbongoapg 9 лет назад

      +GBPaddling thought that was pretty straight forward but i"ve been studying it a while now...the road traffic acts of 1988 have a bit titled application to the crown...thats where you read bits like the civilian subject to service discipline who is the driver and the vehicle is then in service too...the enforcement act is article 90 and its articles 183&184 subsections 7 in the normal 1988 rta...you need to follow 184 ss 7 to the 2006 armed forces act article 42,108 and schedule 15 part 2 to see the uk national,british subject,citizen snd national are all civilians subject to service discipline...then go to 1981 nationality act to see how they create those positions to fuk us over with...peace

      +umbongoapg I know you mean well Umbongo, I just had no idea what you meant. All these acts are complicated and written in Legalese to bamboozle the man in the street, and extort money from him in the form of fines. Keep up the good work.
