JK has addressed the "JK did not like/hates Jimin" narrative before. He explained how he was young and really shy he does not know how to react to Jimin showing affection to him but on his interviews he had always choose Jimin for being the hyung he finds the easiest to talk to. He even said Jimin is the most charming and has the nicest personality out of them all. Him saying if he's a girl, he would date a guy like Jimin says a lot.
In my personal opinion, 2018 is when JK comes really forward in showing how he likes and adored Jimin so much. This time he's not camera conscious or shy anymore. He is openly showing his affection. From then up until now, we see JK showing to the world how he would favor Jimin by choosing to always be together with him. Every new clip for BTS, specially behind the scenes show how Jikook are attached to the hip. The amount of things they know about each other that others seems to be unaware is getting really suspicious. This tells us how Jikook has been spending so much time together away from the limelight and yes, JK's affection has always been the same if not getting bigger each time.

It should be very obvious that jk has always been fond of jimin , because tbh I've never seen a duo who has similar interests, talents and perspectives like those two. And them being people who believes in destiny and such things, it must be awesome to meet someone whom you feel "I am you, you are me" with.

Haven't watched this yet but the title *YES!* When I first got into Jikook I kept seeing "Jimin fell first but JK fell harder" and later i came to realise that line was bullshit. Thank u for making this. More people need to know that's a false narrative.
People forget that Jungkook was 14-18 in the earlier years of 2011-2016.

Honestly after watching this video i gotta say some people are really messed up and miserable. Before this i had only seen edited videos which made me think Jk couldn’t stand Jimin back in the day. How miserable does someone have to be to sit down and edit videos tryx to push a certain narrative? Well honestly speaking Jungkook is is or seems uncomfortable around Jimin especially when Jimin tries to touch him……but it’s not for the reason many people assume it to be. Think about it. Among all the members jimin is the most touchy one yet but all of them can get really touchy at times with each other but you never see JK flinching or looking nervously at the camera when other members hug or kiss him he only acts this way with Jimin. I can see why some people will think that he doesn’t like Jimin but that’s cus some fans think or expect that these guys will act in the most expected way. If you look at things critically and deeply analyze you will realise that the reason JK acts this way with Jimin only is because with Jimin there is SOMETHING TO HIDE, while with the other members including V, there is nothing to hide. Try to imagine yourself with a secret that you know will be scandalous if it came out and you are a hugeeee star and always infront of cameras and there are millions of pple wanting to analyze your every move. Ofcourse you will be nervous too. I feel like so many Taekookers know this deep down and that is the reason they hate and attack Jimin so much because they know that he is ACTUALLY a threat to their ship. Taekook and Jikook have a completely different dynamic. I don’t know how people don’t see it. Based on my observations, V to JK a bossom friend whom he loves very much, loves his company, loves hanging out with and gets jealous when he feels like his attention is divided! Anybody who has real friends will know that when you have a friend who you really love hanging out with others, you get jealous and sometimes petty but this doesn’t in anyway mean thay you have any romantic feelings for them and if we know one thing about JK, he is possesive of everything he cares about. So I don’t understand why some people mistake that for romantic feelings. With Jimin on the other hand, you can deny it all you want but these two have always had this tension between them. There is this very not so subtle romantic tention with them that you donot find in any other ship. Jimin had always been vocal about liking JK so much and i feel like everybody focused on what was loud and nobody cared to look at what wasn’t. Jk being who he is isn’t very vocal about his feelings, he is more a show it rather than a tell it kind of person and if anyone really took the time to watch their old videos you will realise Jk definitely had a think Jimin but it was missed because everyone focused on how loud Jimin was about liking Jk and how close JK was to V. I kinda understand why Taekookers are so mad. Imagine believing in a ship and investing in it for years and then all of a sudden you realise that you mighy have been very wrong. There are some people who cannot accept defeat and rather than saying they were wrong, they will go to any lengths to prove they are right without caring how damaging that could be to some people. Nobody throws stones at an unfruitful tree. The reason Jimin gets so much hate is because they know his power. So many Jikookers are not insecure about JK’s closeness with V because they do not have any reason to. It’s just like when you trust someone or something you are not easily moved!!

Agreed. And that trust seems to have developed really quickly. Jimin moved to the dorms in May 2012. Jungkook went to LA for dance classes that July and fell in love with dance. According to what Jikook told us in a May 2016 vlive, when he got back to Korea (in August, I believe) and was thinking he wanted to quit Big Hit to focus solely on dance, he didn't talk with RM, Tae, or one of the other members. Instead, he already liked and trusted Jimin enough to choose him to confide in. And he trusted him enough to take Jimin's advice to stay and become part of BTS.

I actually used to be a Taekook romantic shipper until I saw a video of Taehyung address “Taekook” basically explaining that it makes them uncomfortable to be shipped together (made me think that was reasonable, I mean how would you feel to be shipped romantically with your brother or sister)-which I think I saw somewhere that that was also part of the reason they became distant (before patching things up in I think In the Soop or Bon Voyage), so I tried to stop shipping them romantically and only shipped them platonically and only watch Taekook videos that could be interpreted as whatever the viewer saw it as (not the Taekook videos that the creator clearly shoves in our faces that the video was made in a romantic light), but Jikook made me feel comfortable enough to ship platonically sometimes and romantically other times-which I will stop doing if JiKook ever comes out and confirms that they don’t like being thought of as lovers.
As anyone should if they said shipping made them uncomfortable or stated they aren’t together.
I agree with you. I only feel okay about considering they might be romantically involved, because I think if either Jimin or Jungkook felt uncomfortable about people thinking they were a romantic couple, they would have acted differently these many years. Jungkook wouldn't have made the subject of his Now 3 Chicago film how sexy he thinks Jimin is, or sucked on Jimin's ear on camera. And he would have covered up that big bruise on his neck, instead of showing up at a shoot with it clearly on display and making sure everyone knew that it was Jimin's mouth that put it there. Jimin wouldn't have said what makes him happy these days is waking up and seeing JK's face. And JK wouldn't tease Jimin on camera about having bad breath first thing in the morning. Or say that, in the Life Goes On MV, the reason he showed Jimin coming out to greet him first thing in the morning was because he wanted to show realism. And on and on...
