This was probably one of Ringo's best All Star lineups of musicians. Jack and Peter compliment each other very nicely. And Simon Kirke seems to have pulled Ringo's drumming back to a level where it hadn't been in a long time. Thanks for posting.
So you know, Frampton's latest DVD + Blu-Ray is 'FCA 35' (Frampton Comes Alive - 35th Anniversary) and it is packed with guitar playing. Half the show is the full 'Frampton Comes Alive' (even inc. orig. bassist Stanley Sheldon), the second half is more current material including his take of The Beatles' 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' (which can be heard to even better effect on his 'Now' album from a few years back. (Frampton played on George Harrison's 'All Things Must Pass). All worth getting.
FUCKING HELL.........this is as good as it gets in my humble opinion ........Eric who???? jack was always the Man......truly wonderful...thanks for sharing..........Kev
starr, bruce and frampton need to get together again sometime. this is quite possibly one of my favorite versions of this song. and definitely the best cover of it. (yes i realize jack wrote it, but without clapton and baker it's just a cover)
Clapton did'nt want to found Cream without Jack Bruce. So Bruce became the spicific voice of Cream. Here he plays with Peter Frampton and I myself think this even a better combination! Marvellous! And if it's a good drummer it dousn't matter who it is (even when he is aided (in this case) by Ringo!
Even two drummers won't make up for the characteristic, powerhouse drumming that Ginger Baker did (does). Frampton's guitar playing and singing fits in perfectly, I find it more spectacular than Clapton's, though I miss the latter's feeling a bit. Jack Bruce proofs once more why he was actually the main force within Cream, without getting enough credit for it.
verdaderamente estupendo para esto solo hay una palabra es Broootal!!! exelente trabajo por parte de CREAM nada es comparado con las intensas lineas de bajo de jack bruce :D que fue de Ginger? ):

Frampton, in the Clapton chair, acquits himself beautifully; Starr, and the other drummer, together, equal Ginger Baker; and Bruce, and Frampton, in their playing, actually "converse." This is GOOD. (Addendum, 10 months later:) They played so well together, and they had so much fun doing so, isn't it too bad Bruce and Frampton didn't put something more permanent together?
@withalittlehelpfrom jack and peter had some good interplay on this track, jack's bass playing outshines peter's solo however, hard to replace clapton for this song, as well as trying to replace ginger baker. not even two drummers could do it.
@claptonisgod95 hahahaha Bruce was NOTHING????? HAHAHAHAHAH firstly he wrote sanf and aranged almost EVERYTHiING CREAM DID did some of thje most brilliant solo material anyone ever did and this version and video absolutely rocks the max!!!!!!!! as long as he has a great guitariust he can do damn near anyhtuing-anc there are LOTS better guitarsits than Clapton -heiwas fine for what he did . but he has been surpassed many times over
Jeez, a superfine performance by all involved, and all this moronic criticism. Ok, critics, pick up a guitar, or bass, or drumsticks, get one of your little friends to hold the cam, or use the one attached to your computer and please, post your version to u-tube.
that is a fuckin joke of a statement. Let see what Stevie winwood would do on a world tour. Then lets watch led zeppelin go on a world tour. Then tell me after zeppelin brings in 100 times more fans. Argue that one. Steve winwood is a great artist. No doubt. He cannot compete with led zeppelin

Sensational. One of the best I have ever seen. Two great musicians hitting it out of the park.
Jack was the soul of cream, Baker was the heart and Clapton was the supporting limbs. Jack Bruce is phenomenal! Long Live J.B.!

Frampton comes alive!!! I love Peter´s playing
