With regard to the depth gauge you could have improved on the review by showing amateurs how it is used i.e. when one has drilled a hole until the tip of the gauge touches the wall/surface, then the set depth has been achieved, and it's time to stop drilling. I really liked your reasoning on why one should go with best possible drill machine with an empty tool box, rather than be sold on the "suitcase kit" with a lower spec drill machine, bundled with lower quality tools and bits, with no flexibility of storing other tools in box. Most other local reviews that I found consist of the amateur reviewers with little knowledge of the product shouting out their excitement on acquiring a new toy, or sounding like a salesperson for the product.
I purchased this. Few doubts- 1. Does the chuck wobble just a little bit for you as well or is it manufacturing problem for mine? 2. I have sparks coming. Is it normal? 3. I am able to use lock function only for full speed. Is it not possible to use lock for lower speeds?

The label in my current drill machine [ the same kit of this vedio ] says 'made in china'.. I had bought 600RE 13mm kit, where the label in drill machine said 'made in India'. I'm confused, whether the 'made in china' drill is legit or not. What does your label says? It would be helpful. Thank you🙏
As shown by you in video I saw -Drill chuck installed on your 550RE is of peacock company!!! 6:04 not Bosch original.. wonder what else is duplicate? did you purchase from Bosch authorized dealer or some crap store offline/online? the peacock chuck is a avg chuck 1/2 20UNC someone cheated you

I know this becuase in past I have been part of Bosch India product development team. you will find peacock chucks in regular drill accessories shops/hardware shops you can compare them. or check with bosch support they will confirm!
Bro I received seal broken product from amazon. And the there is a small torque recoil while starting up like you showed here? Is that starting torque normal??
@@sagar9111 sure i returned it. What i meant by torque recoil is as we press the button, there is a small jerk (which will try to rotate the drill clockwise) and a sound just before the motor starts to rotate(Like a ‘tak’ sound)

Tool kit comes with many accessories but the accessories are not of bosch. Freedom kit comes with the box and limited kits which are all made by bosch.

1. Very minor wobble is there in hammer mode.
2. Yes. It is normal.
3. Lock is possible only at full speed.

Yes you can. The max supported bit size is 13 mm. You need to make sure that ur drill bit is within 13mm.
