I real enjoy your videos and have put a lot of your recommendations in action. Thank you. SVOL was one I had, sold because I wasn't sure about, and repurchased based of a video. Thanks again. I wonder if you would review Pacer Cash Cow funds & specifically PSFF.
Thanks for the video! I like SVOL and I think it's a great fund for income. I think that the ultimate test for the fund would be real Market crash with VIX over 100 and would really like to see where the bottom for the fund price would be. It's hard to say since vix calls will kick in and fund managers will also make lots of adjustment. Comparing this with SPY on total return for 1y or longer shows good result for SVOL. One day we will see what happens in market crash, but I believe that SVOL will outperform SPY(S&P) unless of course Market goes up for a long time. I still don't understand how VIX went up to 65 for just short period of time compared to 85 during Covid crash. This was a good test and SVOL held pretty well.
Fr! The market started correcting almost immediately. But what if it hadn’t? If you do not have margin then a longer downtrend is ok if you don’t chicken out. But, what if you’re on margin and it didn’t get fixed a a day like this time?
@@RAri-rc3to I never do margin! And even if Market did not recover I would just hold SVOL. The only question is if they can sustain that 0.30 div if SVOL is trading at lower price for a longer period of time - say 3-4 months or more....
@@wealthadventures I agree, we have not seen that yet! And that will be a good test for the fund. But we all have to admit it - for 3y+ it beats S&P on TOTAL RETURN! A fact no one can argue here!
@@wealthadventuresHIGH was actually up >1% on the day of the big VIX spike. I dont know enough about the fund to say why, but it was interesting to see!
I like volatility. Great time to trade. Instead of the VIX, I sold 6 NVDA $95 puts due September 20 ... 2 days later bought the puts back for a $2,460 profit. I plan on doing it again if given the right opportunity.
Thanks for the vid, I've owned svol for a year and normally would buy on a drop like Monday but it broke a range it had not broken since I've owned it. Very relieved by Friday that it came back so much. Really happy you contacted them for this info. Up until Monday it was a pretty stable high paying fund compared to some of the other ones.
A market correction is minus 10%. If you consider the S&P 500 the market, then it did not go down 10% and this was not a market correction. Minus 5% to minus 10% is considered merely a pullback or dip. This happens almost every year. The only thing rare in all of this is the VIX spike. Best comment since many of your other comments are bots.
My Order was filled but, overnight. Topped it off during the day and few days later sold the initial overnight order. Let’s see if VIX will spike up some more, towards 60’s again…
The bot problem is too big for any creator to deal with it themselves bro , ain't no on losing any credibility on it. RUclips needs to figure it themselves.

Thanks! I'll take a look.
Just signed up!
Thanks!
I alway keep a couple standard orders for SVOL assuming a 40 VIX plus spike for price. I really won this time picking up 200 shares of SVOL at $19.80!
Nice!

It was a strange spike. I would think sustained elevated VIX would be the biggest issue for SVOL. That would really handcuff them into a decision.

Ha! The kid who watches the trains and VIX spike fetish! Brilliant! Spot on! You are not alone. Great video.
Thanks! Still hope to catch up with the manager of the fund soon.
sure would like to see them move the long 50 calls to about closer to 40 calls. I'd be happy to give up one or 2 percent for that!
If I get a chance, I will ask them about it.
Fun fact: it's AMAZING how much you look like the main character of Ozark !!! 😅 Also - thanks for "VOLMAGEDDON" tip - never heard of this before haha
Jason Bateman? That is a new one for me! Lol.
Bought SVOL and ZIVB on Monday. Svol under 20 and zivb under 18. Both short the vix. Zivb much more volatile. Mon vix spike looked a bit overdone.
Can you look at the effect of recent market moves on HIGH ETF which you have reviewed in the past.
I can take a look. They were always pretty conservative spreads but big moves like we had will still hit that fund.

Nice! It definitely provided some opportunity.

It has performed well and held up. I'm curious about the next few weeks and the upcoming distributions.
Lots of stocks and ETFs recovered from the yen carry trade collapse.

Why do you allow the spamming on your channel ? Your creditability is going to take a hit if your purposely allowing the spamming scammers .
I don't allow it. I block them as I see them but they just keep coming. I report each one to YT.
Yea..same BS on all these...hey I just made .....

People need to figure it out themselves. Otherwise, they will be taken even off youtube.
