Sadly, getting out of Venezuela is even harder than managing to live there, and even borderline impossible if you don't have help from outside. If it isn't due to the non-existent economy, it's from the insane corruption and neglicence of the goverment, so much that airport security might not allow you to leave the country just because they know you're not coming back, and you can just lose your flight - and your money - if you can't convince security that you're coming back. Take it from a venezuelan that miraculously made it out, my family had to buy round-trip tickets just to "prove" we weren't moving out.
@@AceOf_Diamonds_ that's horrible I also come from a third world country but even there they would at least let you leave I hope something can be done to help ven even though it's very unlikely it'll get better

This was a great video. It felt close to home 'cause I'm one of those Venezuelans who lost weight back in the day. I live as an inmigrant now, life is rough but hey, I live. It's just sad that I'll never be home again
Stories like these are so pivotal because they show just how much people in first world countries take advantage of. I have never been faced with the notion of being hungry, homeless, and working 12 hours a day just to afford to eat that day, and knowing someone else has that tenacity gives me some hope that one day he will be relieved of needing to do so. I hope the best for that deranker, and that he can end up with a stable job.
Very good video, the debooster scene should be seen as reverse challenger skillwise, because those people know so much about the ban system as challengers know about the game.
Been to Venezuela twice good on him I met people who worked for less than a dollar a day. Crazy how bad their economy is most of the people I know left to Argentina and Columbia.
I have a suggestion instead of letting bad players in ranked they should have a competency test in the form of games before you are able to play ranked for the season. It gets rid of bad Iron players and Bronze players and have ones that have way more skill at the game but it allows Riot to detect deboosters for awhile as the worst players are stuck in norms till their win rates improves above 50% in 100 games at the least
Boosting is still playing the game. The other team still has a chance to win and all that's in their way is the opposite team. Inting isn't just playing out of your league, it's grieving your teammates. It's the most unfair and unsportsmanlike thing you can possibly do in a game.
This is honestly heartbreaking. He doesn't like doing it, he's ideologically against it, but it's his best opportunity to literally stay alive. How terrible that must be, my heart and thoughts go out to all the people in places like venezuela and ukraine, and anyone with struggles like this. I'm very impressed he's making something work for him in that situation.
He says he doesn't like doing it, only to justify his actions but deep inside this guy doesn't really care about the game, he can do other things, I think it's not justifiable to ruin the game experience of 4 individuals trying their best to win a game
It would be really cool if Riot contacted this guy and hired him to help them get rid of deboosters, he'd most definetly get more money and he'd help people who are victims of deboosters and bots.

this is the sad truth riot cant deal with. ranked league is not a game where people come to compete and climb, its a place where people come to do what ever BUT climb. only at the higher levels of league people actually try to play a team game. everywhere else, its a solo with bots... (i know i sound salty but at the age of 31, im just sitting there playing with players younger then me who just dont care...)
For some context, In 2017 is when I started to play league of legends and my age was 15 . Now, I am 20 year old and planning to join the US army next year. This video did made me feel sad and tear up a little bit. The whole atmosphere is different compared to the earliest video of why booster exist. Which was somewhat a wholesome story, because as I got older I started the hardship of life. You either work or study or part time both. Otherwise, you won't have a life to enjoy. My point is in that early video about dads doesn't have time to game as they have a family to support. On a off topic, I feel women has more option than before to do things. Don't be me wrong, parenting is hard and difficult, when a person has to take care an infant up to 18 or more. So, kudos to you for making video like this.
In Diamond, there's a lot of junglers that do this Reranking strategy unironically as their gameplan, holding hostage their teammates. Imagine if they got banned because they were detected as "elo deboosted accounts"
Found one in my game the other day. Stole jg from my friend then trolled the whole match by never ganking, stealing farm and not doing objectives however his KDA is positive because all he did was kill steal.
I met a guy from venezuela in an old MMORPG, he was selling the game money for a living. He told me he played 6h a day each day, with 12 acc more or less for roughly 1k USD a month. This guy told me that with a 20k-25k $ account you could make like 100-150 USD a day just by farming.
Disgusting practice, losing game not onlly on purpose, but also in order to earn money. But it's hard to say that all this setup and theory is not impressive.
Around 11:50 - I just can't stop thinking of the characters in No Game No Life playing with their hands and feet while he talks about playing on 10 pcs
ngl his job actually sounds like an dispatcher off some sort he has to multi task, almost sells his soul to his job bc off how much he works and he has to be efficient enough with it to not get banned ruining his progress
I created a new account after being inactive for 10 years and forgetting my login information and there are so many smurfs, deboosters and players leaving in low level games it's insane!
Great video. I also appreciate the comments down below. One thing no is saying is how to fix this. I wonder if some form of ingame capta type proof of being a human would help. Also ingame reporting as well. Let the players send a report which will trigger a test to determine if a person is actually at the keyboard. Even just typing a word displayed on the person in question's screen. Then the game can be restarted or something
thank you for this vid (actually first i watch from your channel), +1 sub this is really sad but after you explained the situation in Venezuela i have to say i cant really blame the guy anymore. Plus he has a really good point : boosting accounts is clearly not any better than deboosting To me the problem coud easily be fixed by forcing people to prove their identity every time they create accounts
So Dong, when you say "it's not even minimum wage" I've worked for 5 dollars the hour with out a contract, the person next to me was jealous because they had a degree and they where making 650 a month, while I was making 600. The US is one of the better off countries economically, positive side is here everything second hand is really cheap lol
This guy is literally hustling 13 hrs a day on the 6 comps at a time doing something that gives him barely enough to survive. Mad respect. I can barely do 60 hour weeks. This guy needs a serious hug cause the amount of toxicity he gets in game is definitely not helping the situation.

This documentaries that you are doing are not just helping us realizing how vast the lol players spectrum is. It's opening us up to see how the hole society is working.
Thanks for this great content !
I really enjoyed this video, kept me engaged the whole way through.
Kinda feel bad for this dude in his situation hope he can maybe get out of ven soon and find actual work
Sadly, getting out of Venezuela is even harder than managing to live there, and even borderline impossible if you don't have help from outside.
@@AceOf_Diamonds_ this are facts, im from venezuela too
work does not exist for them
@@AceOf_Diamonds_ that's horrible I also come from a third world country but even there they would at least let you leave I hope something can be done to help ven even though it's very unlikely it'll get better
@@AceOf_Diamonds_ I am happy that you and your family are well here :). Very heartwarming to hear!!
Always amazed by the quality of your RUclips videos. Keep up the excellent work; I LOVE your videos.
Obviously this kind of behavior in game is a plague, but I respect this guy for being very nice in explaining what really goes down. Very interesting video!
So cool to see you do a documentary about my ranked teammates :D
This was a great video. It felt close to home 'cause I'm one of those Venezuelans who lost weight back in the day. I live as an inmigrant now, life is rough but hey, I live. It's just sad that I'll never be home again
This video was really good. Reminds me of the Venezuelan gold farmers in runescape
Imagine caring about "the quality of a video game" when people are starving to death lol.
I hope the best for that deranker, and that he can end up with a stable job.
i didn't read the title or watch the intro but I've taken these play tips to heart and I'm ready to start playing ranked!
Always solid content. Analyses that actually have some substance and unique angles. Wp mate.
The rant at the end was just amazing
Thank you for this video
I wish I had the concentration for just 1 task haha
That's some serious skill
That Yone play at 0:46 hurt me physically
That was actually a plat game lmao
Finally, a league career for the masses
Riot should hire this guy. Give him a good job, and better fight derankers. Win win
Wow I wasn't expecting this. I will have to think twice next time I flame an inter. I hope. I hope this kid makes all the money he needs.
Nice to see your face Dong. Great video, this section of league needed a light shined on it.
Great vid, we are happy we were able to provide insight into our work in this video!
Now I won’t be sad to lose anymore because I know it might help feed someone :)
A new meaning to the term feeding
this guy could learn alot from my promo teammates
Ironically enough deranking is actually more fair than boosting. Boosting robs all 5 players on the other team. Deranking only robs 3 or 4 players.
Boosting is still playing the game. The other team still has a chance to win and all that's in their way is the opposite team. Inting isn't just playing out of your league, it's grieving your teammates. It's the most unfair and unsportsmanlike thing you can possibly do in a game.
As a Venezuelan. I really appreciate you talking about my country and telling the truth about my country
amazing video as usual, i feel bad for this guy. may Allah guide him out of Venezuela to find a better job with a good salary.
bro if you're living in venezuela and really hurting for food i have no problem with what you're doing. get that bread.
Cool !
New method to derank my account, thank you
true gaming journalism, keep up the good work we need it !! :)
Same, I find it heartbreaking :( but it’s reality. And there are far worse situations than him. Like literally 0 food in Africa Asia etc…
@@inglestopia "he can do other things" did you see the difference between the average pay there and what he is making?
@@periklisperperis6868 WASHING CARS IS MORE DIGNIFYING THAN DOING THIS SHIT
@@inglestopia and? He needs to make money and this is his only option for a livable wage
Another banger 🔥. High key tho that Venezuela stuff is sad af
It would be really cool if Riot contacted this guy and hired him to help them get rid of deboosters, he'd most definetly get more money and he'd help people who are victims of deboosters and bots.
Let's hire the guy who broke our ToS by losing intentionally and botting
Edit: and selling/sharing accounts most importantly lol
@@adriannstg3421 well they work with people who hacked their systems and who sell cheats
@@LeagueBeer they know how to code
@@adriannstg3421 isn't that exactly who you want? The one that makes a living doing what you're trying to stop, who knows the strategy better than you ever could.
just cause this guys good at intentionally losing doesnt mean he'll be good at idenitfying ppl who intentionally lose.
Riot could solve this much easier if they just made quality educational content instead of a simple tutorial.
Runescape has a BIG problem with Venezueleans
Or straight up lock them up with other of their species, because it is disgusting as they always been
Or with that kind of "president" boy sure they have a bright future
Oh my god, thanks for that information. Downplayed for years just for my own amusement with friends. B5 first, then we got iron. Without surrender. 👌
There's also a documentary of the people on Venezuela that played runescape for a living.
I'm glad that they've found food and wealth out of such a harmless crime.
Another human being having a significantly better life, because I lost a game in silver 3.
Now that'll put a smile on your face, plus I get to yell "ahhh damn inters" and get some stress of the day out without them hearing or seeing it ( Don't do it in chat guys, do it in your private discord or IRL and then let it be gone)
GG friend
Venezolano, lo sabía
Pd: Después de ver el vídeo me siento obligado a decir que es broma, espero que mejore la situación amigo, fuerza desde España
this is the sad truth riot cant deal with. ranked league is not a game where people come to compete and climb, its a place where people come to do what ever BUT climb. only at the higher levels of league people actually try to play a team game. everywhere else, its a solo with bots...
So, kudos to you for making video like this.
very true there brother, If Solo que actually becomes Fun people will troll less
As a Venezuelan I wanna meet this guy as well, my situation slowly is getting worse and worse. My mom and I lost our business due to rent too.
really respect this guy
i never thought that deranking exists...
i must have lived under the rock for a long time
Man your content is just perfect every time, love the conclusion x)
I never thought that the reason why would League community would do such things is just the economy of their countries.
Thanks for the video, Dong!
Around 11:50 - I just can't stop thinking of the characters in No Game No Life playing with their hands and feet while he talks about playing on 10 pcs
He makes a good point. Solo q is so fucked the whole spectrum, and an absolute enigma in iron
ngl his job actually sounds like an dispatcher off some sort he has to multi task, almost sells his soul to his job bc off how much he works and he has to be efficient enough with it to not get banned ruining his progress
Then the game can be restarted or something
thank you for this vid (actually first i watch from your channel), +1 sub
this is really sad but after you explained the situation in Venezuela i have to say i cant really blame the guy anymore. Plus he has a really good point : boosting accounts is clearly not any better than deboosting
To me the problem coud easily be fixed by forcing people to prove their identity every time they create accounts
The Korea route
So Dong, when you say "it's not even minimum wage" I've worked for 5 dollars the hour with out a contract, the person next to me was jealous because they had a degree and they where making 650 a month, while I was making 600. The US is one of the better off countries economically, positive side is here everything second hand is really cheap lol
It finally makes sense now! That’s why I have so stupid teammates, they are trying to derank! Couldn’t understand how they were so stupid
"Iron accounts are incredibly rare"
Didn't know I was that precious B)
gonna buy iron accounts just to support this legend
This guy is literally hustling 13 hrs a day on the 6 comps at a time doing something that gives him barely enough to survive. Mad respect. I can barely do 60 hour weeks. This guy needs a serious hug cause the amount of toxicity he gets in game is definitely not helping the situation.
best League content on youtube no cap
amazing content, love your channel mate, that debooster guy is a nice dude :)
bruh once the Venezuelan clips started coming in with that song, damn man... got me sad.
Well said dude. Thank you for the insight
