How to flip the stock in the spindle? Many parts require turning after flipping the part in the chuck to complete machining. Please help me with this. I tried various options, but the 3d representation always shows the spindle on a fixed side of the part.
Have you tried with creating another setup?
@@miguelmendoza3403 I tried changing origin points but to no avail. I am new to this and obviously missing something. Could you please help me out? I havent had formal training in this and am learning as I go along.
@@kmackmachinesthere is an option in the Solidworks cam menu whose name is "part setup" you can create a new one that machines a different direction by clicking any face or plane you wished. That is, if you are using a mill machine. We have only a mill CNC so far, hence I have not used the lathe features.
@@kmackmachines another thing. I recently found out that Solidworks cam has already some tutorials in PDF the folder Solidworks cam / lang.
You should read them.
