Have Chelsea Had A Good Window So Far? The panel have mixed reviews on Chelsea's overall transfer business and squad quality. Alex was joined by CFCPys and Felix.
I don’t think we are in a position where we can sign another statement signing and expect it to confirm results. Last year this time we had a squad that people were saying needed a couple positions and we competing for the league, splashed for Caicedo last minute to cement it (also lavia) and put up a dud. I largely blame Poch for our underachievement tbf. However we have now already spent the big bucks and should move conservatively till the team has actually shown they are a statement signing away from the next step.
The transfer fees we paid for some of these players mean we have no choice but to overrate and back these players. The last 5 games of the season have people fooled imo, its a flawed sporting strategy if the objection is trophies. Still excited for preseason though at the end of the day im a fan
Bitter reality is we have become mid table club whether we like it or not. Our owners have achieved this in matter of few seasons which is remarkable. Our fanbase here is just excited by mid level players now, that’s another reality. This is like summer of Drinkwater’s and baba rehman’s signing.
Buying a st when we have Jackson maybe Nkunku and Guiu will lead to the same squad bloating the destroyed Potter. Signing a lw when we have Sterling refusing to leave will just lead to financial issues and people crying when we need to sell another top academy prospect to subsidise it. Too much focus on squad additions and not squad planning
Have to go right for this group to get “there” Alex. That’s why big clubs don’t do this shit. They have established players and add the youngsters to learn from said experience. Chelsea are hoping everything there doing comes together and the chances of that happening are slim. I see the vision, but don’t think it comes together like they think it will with the wage structure and age limit in n additions. It’s laughable
James , Tosan , Fofana , Chillwell , Cucurella, Nkunku , Enzo , Moises , Sterling. These are not experienced players? If anything we desperately need a GK!!!!!
Keeping Reece James , Nkunku and Fofana fit will be the best signings of the season.
There is nothing strange about the line of thought that one can be more hopeful with Noni than Mudryk.

Honestly what is the meaning of this 'needle mover' term. Earlier on this stream, Connor called Desire Doue a needle mover. That makes no sense

I'd rather we just get a back up striker like Jonathan David who is available cheaply. Even if we sign a £50m striker doesnt guarantee he starts.

Mid table? Didn’t we just come 6th?

Anyone saying this is a good window, is getting paid by the club.
Mudryk will be good next season
pys has the brain of a fish
That's disrespectful to fish
@@JJJS-mu9hj i apologise to all fishes all around the world for my poorly thought out comment. Fishes are smarter than pys. I stand corrected.
We still need a proven Striker and better LW than Mudryk & Sterling.
We are not signing people who move the needle that's for sure.
I'll wait till end of July till I panic😔
