Yep, this is happening at the same time as the canon indigo league series since we know canonically Ash and Paul meet after both have competed in 3 leagues.
Oh, kanto is kinda in trouble then, since without ash, jessie and james might actually be able to cause trouble
If this was Canon to the anime Paul releasing his Pokemon because they're weak and only like strong Pokemon and their abilities make sense because after Reggie lost a Brandon that's when Paul started to become more aggressive
Yep, I tried to keep it that Paul was always strict and had high expectations. But seeing Reggie lose to Brandon along with his own loss against Byron caused him to harden his heart and detach emotionally to avoid further pain. This allowed him to act cruelly since he'd severed his emotional connections and was acting based on what he perceived as logic and pragmatism.
@@Pickled_Dill that all makes sense I'm assuming in the anime before Paul became a trainer he actually loved and cared about his Pokemon but once his brother Reggie lost to Brandon and Brandon said mean things about his brother that's when Paul started to become more strict with his Pokemon

Finally, I can start talking about this series since the first parter had its comment section turned off. 😮💨 Okay, this is pretty cool with Maylene been a trainer like Ash and Paul and picking up the final starter in Chimchar alongside with Roark not been a Trainer/Gym Leader yet. 🙂 I was hoping Paul won't turn into his normal canon, but unfortunately it did happened hopefully Ash can fix this. I feel bad for Starly been released here I was hoping Ash would catch it to use on his team. 👍 Anyways another really good part, and will check out the next part.

paul doesnt release chimchar let ash be the one to capture magmeaer and ditto please a wild ditto so if it breeds with pauls chimchar and turtwig ash could also get a chimchar and a turtwig same for paul ash breeds his piplup with his ditto gets a piplup egg gives the egg to paul
