- Finally I got to try the new M6A2E1 (Battle Pass Season 3 to reward).
You all know how I like heavy tanks gameplay, and this one is not exception.
Strong turret decent hull armour , amazing cannon it's all what you need(or I need). And some t30 gameplay. Enjoy!

Also like out of 200 battles at 6.7,8.0 and 11.0 combined , this is the only time I got to try new map lol I don't know why to add new map when you don't allow players to try it. Well I even liked it in the map filter, maybe I should dislike it ?
I got it twice at 9.3 ( suffered to get the xm8 ) and once at 6.7 where I spent the second half of the game as a jagdtiger flipped in front of the objective. The xm8 is also really fast now that they fixed the gear ratios so maybe you should try it again. Also don’t get surprised if your game gets ruined by CAS it’s the main and only downside of the map
TL;DR try playing at 9.3/7
i got this map at 4.7 today, with my russian heavy tank & TD. That was painful

@@paire2 yeah automatic range adjustment and thermals make it incredibly bombed ( if you don’t get bombed or rocketed by g91s)

I actually had fun in this thing. Good gun, decent armor, and high profile (means you can shoot from interesting places ). My type of beast. But I don't like how people can't get it for free...

@J Wilt All bombs need nerfed.
@J Wilt Nerfs solve problems with the game when things are unbalanced this is especially true when it comes to aircraft as currently its insanely easy to rack up absurd amount of kills in only a few seconds. One nerf they should include is an accuracy nerf as bombs are not only far too powerful they are also far too accurate as actually hitting the tank directly with the bomb is something a blind man can do at this time.
In the current game the people who most often are at the top of the game are those playing aircraft which is fucking stupid as it defeats the whole purpose of ground battles.
@J Wilt It doesn't butcher their abilities in other game modes you would know this if you saw how the AI ground units of Air battles are very different from player ground units.
Nerfing does fix things if they would actually preform a proper full blown nerf rather then just half assing everything they do.
Kill cam is fine and should actually be kept as it is good for catching people who are using X ray which is thankfully quite rare but you will still find them on occasion. Other stuff could be removed though.
Of course you should be forced to play a tank its called a ground battle for a reason your idea would just result in even more aircraft spam.
We don't need larger maps so the idea of having the points count as spawns is idiotic for ground battles. AI AA guarding the spawns would be fine though especially if you put them outside the ground map boarder to keep the other ground units away from them.
Sure make the arty and airfields destructible especially the arty as its obvious they really didn't think the over pressure update through as currently arty regularly kills almost everything even heavy tanks.
In order for them to fix AA they would have to create actual functional leads which they obviously can't as if you play arcade the lead is never even close to accurate as depending on the AA you use you have to aim an extra 10%-80% further ahead then what the lead indicates and that is when the lead actually has the direction correct which it often doesn't. I actually got to the point I mostly ignore the lead which oddly enough gives me better results.
When ordnance kills you from absurd distances and is way too accurate it becomes obvious it needs major nerfs.

As a fan of the M6 Heavy Tank I am saddened by this second M6 being added to War Thunder as a battlepass vehicle. Just another tank I'll never get to use
Well they usually don't add prototypes to the main tree, unless it's needed. But I really don't like how we can't grind it for free
On the market it probably will be cheap , same as other bp vehicles . At least while there is thousands of them for sale. If we gonna get another crafting event, sell material on the marker and buy m6 for free ;)

I bloody love that map, as it really caters to the aggressive mindset in allowing for plenty of areas to move and flank without getting bogged down. Took my shiny new T-34-85 on it and got nearly 20 kills. I would have had it too, if it weren't for their pesky tickets running out. Then again, I'm nearly certain the team i was facing were all too busy eating glue to play the game.

If you drive towards the battle in reverse, the engine block and transmission eat just about any rounds that hit your rear. Not only absorbing APHE shells but also HEATFS and ATGMS. It is surprisingly effective, especially since the M6A2E1 can go just as fast in reverse as it can go forwards!
