The 'Dauntless' V6 is one of the best things to ever happen to Jeeps. The Dauntless is the same as the Buick 225 'odd fire' but with a heavier flywheel. It's a very torquey, cool running engine that is very well suited for off roading (low stall speed) which runs up quickly in the RPM when throttled. They were favorites of sprint racers in the 1970s. I run one in a flatfender with Kenne Bell intake, too much carburetor, Advance Adapters headers, Warn OD and she's a peach! Check out Advance Adapters / Novak Engineering 'site for information on the Buick V6 as well as your transmission and transfer case. I imagine you've got her up and running by now (late March, 2022). Spring / summer fun!
I'm doing the same thing currently I hope I can get some help, anyone know like an checklist for getting an old jeep like this up and running, dauntless 1969 V6
