    Its also crazy to think that Mendilibar's contract was renewed right after the tough loss against Macabi in Greece.
    That shows that the front office believed in the coaches ambitions.

      That is crazy. The fact that they won a European competition going through 3 managers in one season is crazy

    how did olympiacos become a big team? take a look at his presidents
    -koskotas (caused a massive scandal in greece with crete's bank, he started as a worker there and somehow bought it, he said that the government was in on it but the prime minister was cleared of charges as you'd expect in greece)
    -Saliarelis (helped koskotas escape to brazil, a good amount of other crimes and many scandals)
    -kokkalis (he was definetely involved with the insane government corruption of the time that has skyrocketed ever since)
    either saliarelis or kokkalis i am not sure who it was from the 2 owed money to every living being in greece that could walk
    -marinakis (had insanely close relations to greece's current government if you can even call it that but he also had a ship of his found full of 🌿and the witnesses dead) btw he owns nottingham as well

      Thats really interesting, i didnt know this. I appreciate your insight. I didnt know marinikas had a shit full of weed and all witnesses dead. Thats crazy. I will say im sure most owners have a dirty history. I appreciate you watchin

      @@BuckFC i think he had heroin not weed but i am not sure that case was on the news years ago but due to his connections it got burried and with no witnesses he ended up cleared of the charges (despite the ship being full of it and both are illegal in greece anyways)

    They won Europa conference league, that’s the third tier UEFA club competition…. That is sooooooooooo far from being Europeen champions!

    • @BuckFC
      @BuckFC  19 дней назад +1

      Still made a european competition and then beat top clubs along the way to lift a european trophy. Thank you for watching
