Hey guys!!! I bought my mom a gift card this year for christmas, and I feel so horrible i couldn’t find anything more exciting. The gift card is for anything you want for 200 kr (like $30 - $40). I want to give her one more smaller thing too, to make it more special. Should I maybe see if i can get another present, and save the card for her birthday? Or should I give it to her and give her something extra? I am only 15 if that changes anything. Please help!!
Gift cards/certificates are the worst gift ever (especially for a male adult) because it limits where you can shop. Someone ruined my Xmas this year by pooling money from my passengers (I'm a bus driver) and buying a gift certificate to a store I'll never go to. We used to get cash in an envelope. I hate this person now. Stop buying gift cards. You can spend cash anywhere or just save it for retirement. Don't limit my gift.
