  • Spider unboxing from Steven Millward
Today we have a collection of adult female fossorial spiders to add to the collection from Steven Millward who is a subscriber and friend on Facebook , I decided to try these fossorial spiders in an attempt to see if we can keep them in a way in which we can see a little more of them ,this will be an ongoing experiment and may not work , we may just end up with pet holes, but we can still breed them 😂👍

The danger of getting into the spider keeping passion seem to be "I need a bigger room for my collection" turning into "I need to move to a castle so I can house all my gorgeous spiders" I am happy to have found your channel. Spider videos go great along with morning coffee or as bedtime stories :D

I think it's this way with almost all animals. U get one fish tank and then end up with alot. U get one snake and end up with alot. I know ppl who started with one kitten and end up with alot.

You really showed how non aggressive spiders can be if they are kept with respect. The fellow you got these rom must have also been a respectful person.. with all that rattling and popping of that tape you would have thought it would put these spiders on the defensive. But with your calm approach they went into there enclosures nice and easy and calm.. Tell camera lady I liked her white flower dress and she looked so serious with that little concentration frown of hers.. I am always amazed at how beautiful I find these spiders since I started to watch your videos Dave.. thanks brother.. I appreciate you and the brave camera lady.. Carry on!

Gosh, those are some stunning spiders there, Dave. Steve must really love and care for them a lot. That golden fringe was so impressive.
That last girl was half-hearted in her defence posture. You could tell she was feeling too cozy to fully commit to aggressive behavior. Just wanted you to know that she didn't like being disturbed.
For such powerful, and voracious predators, these spiders seem remarkably calm and peaceful.
I can't get over how plump and healthy they all look. I wanted to comment on some of the others but I've forgotten already what I wanted to say 😂
Great video as always, Dave. Loved the bit of banter you shared with your camera lady over the enclosure lid 😂. Very organic and natural. Keep it up! Watching from here in Australia 🇦🇺

I even picked up a spider last night to put him outside. Just so you know, I mira get bigger than 2”. I have a female that just over 3”. I believe they get around 4”. But not completely sure. Anyways they are gorgeous and great eaters. But you will mainly be seeing a lot of their feet lol. But again their feet r the best part! My females named “Boots”

@@daveslittlebeasties On the front body of this spider a little behind the eyes, an inch maybe, there is a small hole. You can see it on other big spiders too

OMG Dave's barefoot. If one ran away how would he step on it? I'm serious, no way one of those would disappear in my house before he goes splat!
