- In this video my buddy Chad and I head to Oregon for the Blacktail Deer and Roosevelt Elk portion of the Bucket List Tour! This was actually the first time we had even shed hunted Oregon! We met up with my other good buddy Stephen Price (owner of Rogue Antler Arts) and his boy Colby, whom let us stay in their beautiful home and showed us some honey holes for Blacktail!
Day one was an absolute BANGER! Stephen and Colby started the hike off quick with a small shed. Chad then proceeded to find his first ever Blacktail shed. Then it was my turn to get on the board, not only did I find my first Blacktail shed.... I found an absolute STUD! You can watch the video to see that unfold!
At the end of the trip, Stephen goes through their VERY impressive shed collection! I was blown away with how many sheds they had, how many brown antlers they had, and the shear size of some of the Blacktail they have been able to find! Had no clue how big Blacktail even got!?

I found a 75" blacktail shed in Northern CA a few years back. That was with one point missing too. Never did match him up, and I looked for 3 years. No poison oak for me, I can bathe in it and doesn't do a thing to me haha. I'm a lucky one I guess.
