Having other people come out of the woodwork to agree that waters have different flavors, even to the point that some are undrinkable (i literally do not drink water from restaurants bc I've never had a water that I could actually drink there) is refreshing. I've been told by Neurotypicals all my life that water is flavorless and that I made a big deal abt nothing (doesn't help that we live in a city with the best quality tap water and I can't even drink that). Having someone come out and make a whole niche where he describes the different flavors and smells of water (including how the container adds to that flavor!!) is genuinely so useful and makes me feel seen.

I like how he brings up wine sommelier as an example of why water doesn’t need a sommelier, but if you ask a SPIRIT sommelier, they would tell you that the water makes a huge difference. In fact, with vodkas, it is not uncommon for multiple brands to have the same distillate, but wildly different water sources, making the water the decider of flavor. Whiskey also tends to show terroir from the water source (Islay’s acidic and earthy tasting water being an extreme example).

Growing up I lived in Oregon, and when I used to visit family in Illinois I would complain about the taste of their water so passionately that I even claimed it made me throw up. I was about 8 years old and even I knew that different waters have different tastes! And this was tap water vs another tap water, I can’t imagine how different spring water would be if I paid attention

Nothing like the CEO of a water company not knowing that water from different sources contains different things inside

Martin is so cool and so chill. Never start beef with wholesome reviewers. Also, no water is pure H2O…so what the hell is his weird monologue about?? The H2O isn’t what affects the taste it’s the other minerals in the water.

You are 100% right about the angry water. It should be calm and still. Sparkling water just tastes weirdly sweet to me and I can't drink it.

This man says he's just selling H2O. He either is admitting to blatantly repackaging and jacking up the price of distilled water or saying whatever he does to make his product different doesn't matter

I agree sparkling water fucking sucks. With no flavors to cover up the carbonation it just tastes like farts. I was once severely dehydrated and the only water my friend had was sparkling water and I tell you I was considering just dying of dehydration rather than drinking that shit. I had to force it down like medicine bc it tasted so bad. Idk how anyone willingly drinks that shit
