Love the aggressiveness of the mini-ops you did like the APC coming down and dropping off the infrantry to try and take out that enemy tank, or the scout/rev-6 going after the arty. With the system of getting funds to bring more units in, can mean doing more ballsy moves that you wouldn't risk your rangers doing
Maybe a use for the dogs would be to use them as cheap and mobile flankers that once in position, you hunker them down to increase their lifespan as a decoy unit. It would then allow you to get in closer with other more valuable units, let say rev-6.
That's a good idea, using them as cheap chaff/scouts to tie up forces, while using cover. They are highly susceptible to splash damage, so crouching would mitigate that alot.
Aw, so that's how the Legion Customization works, Interesting. The Humunculi and the various Hunter platforms are definitely your "bread and butter", and they can do pretty much anything you need them to do. Although I must admit the Idea they you can swap your "superior" Plasma weapons for Conventional weaponry is probably making Legion Prime raise more then few Digital Eyebrows. Still given you are only limited by your Power Budget, making use of that blueprint and None standard unit system to create interesting units looks like Fun.
Hey, maybe since reg 6’s are not good vehicle capturers you could make a template for them with a squad size upgrade, give them lighter weapons to increase speed and cost effectiveness and then label them “capture crews”
During the last episode you commented on the fact that legion units don’t have the smoke screen ability and how that makes ATGM’s very dangerous. Is there a reason you didn’t include any of the smoke launcher upgrades for your scouts or APC’s? (Not intending to criticize, I’m just curious to your reasoning)
@scottjohnson1483 that's a fair observation. I avoided purchasing the smoke upgrade to focus on maximising my infantry and going for the ATGMS on spiders, (which is a 2 stage purchase). I opted for damage output over damage avoidance, initially. In the next mission, I go for smoke on my heavy APC's to assist my playstyle of massed mechanised (🤖) infantry insertions.
Are you not worried about losing so many units? As you said yourself, the main campaign is very hard and when you fuck up too early it is nearly impossible to win. Why should it be any different in the dlc campaign?
No, I'm not worried. We are legion. The DLC info says it's different in style and scope in between missions and that individual units are not important. We can just build more in most missions
It is interesting watching your tactics advance in this one, from the previous, from just force feeding troops pointlessly into the humans, to purposeful trades of your forces to take out disproportionately more worthwhile human troops. Keeping other troops alive when you were wasting them beforehand in mass assaults. It'll be interesting to see you move forward into the campaign.

Legions playstyle certainly let's you be a little bit more bold with attacks. It was also WAY less stressful to take losses 🤣
Thanks for watching 🫡

43:04 did I hear that right? “Make sure all the tanks get seduced!” 🤣
They perform better when they love you 💀

Great content! Can't wait for the fight against Movement, with their artillery and human wave tactics.
Movement better bring their A-game; or they will be mince meat XD
love the content, for the machine god, for the Omnissiah show them there flesh is weak and the superiority of steel
Ah, a fellow disciple of the Omnissiah! Just make sure to keep the circuits clean and the flesh at bay!

I’m open to playing with that idea, I’ll try it out and see how it works!

@@CmdrTyraelthe best defense is a good offense, makes sense. Thank you for the answer!
It's crazy you need a DLC to play as the good guys smdh
@@StarFoth the base game is the resistance and humanity... unless you're personally on the side of the robots 🤣
@@CmdrTyrael Precisely~

Nice. Like this series.
Glad you enjoyed that, more to come!

It’s all about trading your pawns wisely to take down those pesky humans. XD thanks for watching o7
Plot twist-Unit 1462 join resistance
Why aren't you using the active pause?
I spent the last campaign using pause, I decided to play without using it. This time
With how ta tivl your aproch is I would love to see you play Battle secctor. But that beaing a turnbase game dont think your would like it...😅😅
I love turn based games AND 40k mate. Battlesector has been on my wish list for a few months now 🫡
@CmdrTyrael awesome!
Legion is surprisingly bad at shooting and slow. They are imperfect.
Yeah, I think the nukes are what won the war for them. The Rev-6 is the only real "Terminator" in the roster
good video but that music is real annoying
I played with the Game Music volume a little too loud in this playthrough.
Cheers for watching
@ all good, the fun gameplay makes up for it
