There is no trauma in that.. I had this experience also.. Nothing to be trauma in this.. Even I am getting complete head shave 🪒 in summer so many times.. As a girl I can say no need to worry..

The result will always look better if you go to a good stylist or barber, but it sounds like you're eager to try. I would suggest a very short bob. You can always do the bowl cut after that 😉 have fun!
I am a barber...I have consultation with all my female clients....on occasion if they want it short...I suggest to them some very short extreme cuts that I like...
