I think some Angels may not realize that there is a reason why Angelina is The Woman of 1,000 Voices.
She is ahead of her time. 18 years old! If her voice was available at the stock market, I would immediately buy as many as I could. She is the future.
I say the same thing as a stock trader myself.

I agree with you, it could be a good year, thanks also to the good contacts that the family evidently manages to have. The connection with songwriters and promoters will help to broaden his recognisability even among different groups of listeners. Her voice... I don't know how to define it anymore, it's a continuous wonder of warm and powerful tones, whispers and breaths, accompanied by phrasing techniques and musical dynamics that she's always had, but that she's developing in a wonderful way as time goes on. I still don't understand how she practically monopolized my listening to music, but she's been doing it for 10 years and I can only be happy and lucky to have met her. And another wonderful signature of Angie are her the fantastic interpretation of the endings of the songs, they are so confidential and expressive!💛🧡❤

IMHO this is no longer a cover, it is a restrung version by the writer for Angelina to sing in the Piano Diaries! I also liked how she asked Toby how the song was written! Look at her poise and grace, she has brought back elegance to the stage! Now that’s what I’m talking about, Angelina applying her magic to this song! Listen to her transitions and her lower register makes you feel the song! AJ putting another song on her mantle! It’s hers now! Well they know who you are now!!!👏👏 The icing on the cake is she is having a blast! And thanks to Toby for giving her the opportunity to perform his song!🇳🇴🇺🇸🎤 Chris thanks for all of the videos you put together from the Las Vegas concerts!
So cool he had Alan Papier help with his own video that he sent to James. This was so cool, especially the way Toby introduced Angelina to the audience. Then, when they were done, the audience loud cheers for both Toby and Angelina was so nice to hear! This type of exposure and this type of event collaborating with a songwriter of this caliber is another upward step to her rise to commercial stardom to hopefully super stardom. We have so much to look forward to!

Chris please don't think you'd be passing the torch here because James Thiel, Joey Farr, Steve Ackerman and others don't do commenting or reactions in there video's and we deeply appreciate your views and incites, besides your much more photogenic and audiogenic than I am. James is doing very well with his video work and he and I have had many long discussions about them before editing, one of them being Unchained Melody. We looked into the history and watch the movie to understand the meaning of the song and shared other ideas. Unfortunately due to copyright he had to remove part of that but did a great job worth watching thrice.

I think this cover and bad valentine is for the younger people. We all know shes incredible - but the world is only just finding out ❤ 🌍.
I think that your comments about her lower register and the complexity of her voice are very insightful.
Magnificent. I wouldn't worry too much about those who don't care for changes in her voice: people can be very change-averse but often quickly adapt their taste.... Remember the incredible hate Bob Dylan faced when he "went electric"..... Angelina is so great I think her mega-success is inevitable - and many who know vastly more than I do (such as Toby Gad) clearly think the same...
Toby has the media connections as well as their synergistic genius.These collaborations will become legendary.I've watched afew videos on Toby's collaborations.He finds where the singer is emotionally and helps draw that out with the lyrics.Needless to say emotionally and vocally he has the best right now.
This was a great way to introduce Angelina to a wider audience. Too bad they didn't have time for another song. It would have been nice if they had learned a little more about her.
She asked him "how did you write If I Were a Boy?". After the song I wish he'd asked her "Now why don't you tell us how you came up with "Princess of Ruins".
I agree that with the maturing of Angelina's voice, she is getting better and better and her toolbox is getting fuller and fuller. For those who do not like the change , of course they are entitled , I just wish they would not come to an Angelina fan site and say things aiming to aggravate. Angelina is absolutely the best ❤❤❤❤👣

I agree Chris that this may be the year she breaks out. I also thought that it might be last year but that was assuming that she would finally be promoted, especially with the new great music she released. However that promotion never came.

From what I’ve read about the song it seems that she was involved in the lyrics and melody and as Toby said the story of the song was her idea. It would seem that the song could be primarily BC Jean’s song with contributions from Toby.
Anytime Angelina "the beast" Jordan is on stage with a microphone in her hand, I know my next few minutes will be a totally captivating experience. This was no exception.

You are right about how the tone and texture of her voice sets her apart from other singers today. Not to mention all the nuances and details. Unfortunately those things can get lost on the younger listener especially when they are so used to all the auto tuned and pitch corrected music that is out there these days.They probably don’t know how to appreciate real quality and unique vocals like Angelina. It seems strange to say but her amazing vocal abilities may not necessarily be what wins her over with the younger generation. It will probably first need to be songs that resonate with them. Then as they become fans they may learn to appreciate her amazing voice.
Her early jazz and standards covers were probably never going to draw in a lot of younger fans but her newer original music has the ability to appeal to a very wide audience once they are finally exposed to it.
The thing about auto tune and pitch correction is that it can take the soul and warmth out of the natural voice but producers and engineers seem to feel it’s necessary now and pretty much use it automatically even when not needed.
We love her natural and unique tones and runs I might be hard for young people to understand the beauty in her voice

James Thiel is completely phenomenal. I think his Unchained Melody history was absolutely brilliant, beautifully showcasing the background to the performance, without the knowledge of which it is impossible to fully appreciate the gentle magnificence of that performance. I kept referring everybody to it. But what sent me through the roof was that double head turn of 8-year-old and 18-year-old Angelina at the end of the Las Vegas "Bang, Bang" video. In the first place, just noticing the similarity in that action in the two separate events was very commendable, and then the editing skill required to synchronize and put them together so perfectly has to be exceptional. We, the ordinary Angels, could never adequately express our gratitude to you, Chris, and to James, Alan, Rusty, Steve, Pontus and all the others who devote so much of your time, knowledge and expertise to promoting Angelina and to consistently bringing the best of her to the rest of us.

It’s Toby’s songs, not even sure that she will be there; likely that she will be and sing “Boy” and, maybe, “Valentine.” Adair Martin and Steve Ackerman are going, and I think James too.

You mentioned the topic of "fans" who don't appreciate her self-imposed effects that she adds to her singing. It seems to me that some of these so called fans want AJ to stay forever young. So many bands and musicians get put in a box, and their fans stifle their creativity. They seem to prefer the clear and crisp (straight forward) version of her voice that she used in "A Million Miles "
I read comments like, "She doesn't sound like she did when she was young!" Or my personal fav, "Why is she copying Amy W.?"
They forget what the loved about her was her abilty to project the likes of Billie Holiday, Aretha, Adele, etc.
But nobody comes close to AJ when she channels the blues. And that is what is coming out more and more in her voice as she grows Love it!!!

She’s truly breathtaking.Angelina hasn’t got a natural voice. Her voice adapts to anything she sings. It just comes naturally to her. She’s the best. I’ve followed Angelina for 10yrs and she still blows me away. James is amazing. He is such a wonderful and caring person. I’m 71 and not very high tech. He’s helped me a lot. What I myself could say about this reaction is that every BigAngieFan reaction is a Big Event for all the fans of Angelina but this one is really the Epitomy because its value multiplied thanks to the collaboration of Mr Walker and Mr Thiel. We're all so thankful for that.

Whatever happened to Rusty?
I didnt like her song Bad valentine. The first song I didnt like of hers.It seemed like Angelina wasnt involved in the writing of it. It also seemed like it wasnt Toby Gads style either. I wonder who really wrote it. Maybe Tobey or Angelina had a bad Day and they took it out on a song.. Im used to Angelina singing about positive subjects, that song made her seem mean and negative ? Not Angelina at all.
