Bernard Hinault's huge failure in the Col de Rousset during the 1984 Critérium du Dauphiné

We all remember the feat achieved by Bernard Hinault during Liège-Bastogne-Liège 1980. We remember less the 7th stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné 1984, run in the rain and in the cold and the terrible failure of the Badger in the ascent of the Col du Rousset and the arrival under the snow. Virtual yellow jersey after the withdrawal of Pacho Rodriguez, Bernard Hinault loses this Dauphiné through sin of pride.
This 1984 edition, dominated and won by the Colombians, also marks the birth of Colombian professional cycling.
