2:21:51 , I think that would be interesting to see them take from for a Bretonnia rework. That is, the Levy system and so on, would suit them better than the other factions. Also, the thing about mixed unit armies is, they make more sense from a logic perspective, before you learn game mechanics make that logic a joke- A strong front line. Damage dealing ranged. And some cavalry for maneuvering- it sounds like a great idea. It's just not... actually, for most factions.
People also use Doomstack lightly. Half the ones sent in are just single unit stacks. And I got to say I love the way you advocate for CA Sofia and the ground level workers in general. Reminding people who are actually responsible for the bad decisions.
I don't understand why he isn't impressed by the light wizard's cataclysm spell. I think it's one of the best ones. It locks down all enemies for 40 seconds... So if you're up against a bunch of dangerous single entities, you let them get into range and then hold them still, and it's holding the rest of the enemies still too so they aren't making ground on your lines while you're gunning down all of their highest value units. The other use case is locking the map down when the enemy groups up on themselves and then you can nuke the blob while they're stuck and can't run (like when reinforcing armies come onto the field).
I have a question, at the end why did you build the wizards conclave and say it would give you access to more wizards instead of using the college of wizards mechanic to just buy more using arcane essays? Does it give you access to something different with them vs using the essays instead? In my game using the new mechanic I always gets +1 wizards regardless when using it
Heh, I'm watching this to see how you handled the early fight at Wai-Li Village and of course with my luck you auto'd it. The stack you came up on is so much weaker than the one I'm looking at. When I get there it's all Jade warriors/crossbowman and auto is close defeat on VH/VH. I can't get out of there without losing half my stack.
If you have too much diaper money, you need to make a second diaper consumer. Its just basic economics. Higher supply means you need to create the demand. A brother, so to speak
regarding 'boris will get his day' - he already had it- a few months after they originally said, it was a multiplayer thing, which is why you(and a lot of people) missed it.
People who shit on Pharaoh just because of "popularity" and it never having the same play rate as warhammer are cringe. Legend taught me that you should criticize based on actual content. Pharaoh has actually a shit ton of work put on its' campaign mechanics which (for me at least) is the most important part of any total war game that keeps you going in campaigns without quitting by turn 30 cuz there's nothing new to do. The downfall of Pharaoh was mainly because of its' Launch price which definitely was excessive, but it was greatly reduced post all the drama thanks to the amazing total war community. The battles are definitely NOT the same as troy but the units are quite similar because it is the god damn bronze age! Still, new campaign mechanics are coming in along with many bug fixes and changes that the community has been wanting for a long time (for example: having a royal family system like attila and not just a character like three kingdoms, troy, etc...). Now, they're addressing the biggest community argument of "small game" (even though it has 190 settlement which I think is crazy) by doubling the size of the map and adding many new major Factions for FREE. All of that for 30$. This is why most of the arguments and critics against Pharaoh just comes across as dwarfs that just refuse to get CA and this small title out of their book of grudges. I understand your point of view Legend. A game needs to have some kind of a fan base to make it succeed and that pharaoh will most probably be thrown in the garbage after the next expansion. There is definitely no need to cover it and I'm not asking you to at all. But I definitely think that you need to try it so that your arguments just don't seem like "oh no one plays it hence it's shit". I for one carefully consider everything you say and actually get very hyped whenever you play something. Sometimes enough to buy it. (Like CK3, Manor Lords, Valheim...).
I actually agree with you on that. I am doing a pause now with WH3 (with all the patches it seems to be always downloading updates) and getting back to Rome Remastered. Nevertheless, I am thinking about buying Pharaoh after the expansion pack is released and give it a try.
Such a noob trap whenever you say Khorn is powerful. They are one of the weakest battle factions and easiest to defend against. They just have an insane mechanic you can abuse if you know exactly how the cheese works. Otherwise you just a sub par melee army
Say that to my stack of exalted bloodletters, skullcrushers and bloodthirsters. Followed by all of the blood hosts I summoned. Khorne is one the most powerful on the battlefield and turns most fights into point and click adventures where you just blender the enemy armies
Also we shouldn’t compare power and then talk about how the AI does. The AI will never compare to the player in terms of creativity, ability, intelligence, and CHEESE! TLDR talk about how powerful something is in the players hands not AI cuz AI dumb
A mod with gelt smiling would have been funny🤣
Sometimes i even forget that he doesn't smile in his original portrait in the game
The cursed face

The main thing is that they also cost winds. If they were free bound spells with a limited number of uses, they’d be more popular
Its really weird they didnt do it that way. They SHOULD be free @@toobin8r
Legend, please do a part 2 of this stream. It was amazing! Thank you!

Thanks for the content!
Would love to see updated Balthasar Gelt campaign review

As a kiwi we would be more than happy to have you my man!!!!
Why is legend waiting for Malakai to be patched ? I missed something, can someone explain. Thx
He is waiting for Patch 5.1. When the changes to the Dwarfs Age of Reckoning are coming
Also his cannons grapeshot is bugged and is doing 10x more damage than intended
@djfoster5076 Oh right yeah. I use 'community bug fix mod'. It fixes that issue so haven't encountered it.
I think a total war lord of the rings game would be cool.
I'm finding gelts campaign refreshing trying to hold marionberg and Cathy. Getting my arse kicked but fun
"As we could tell by his voice"
So the error is not on my end? No voice recording?

You just need some wild looking glasses for Malakai's campaign :p

Sad to hear the kid thing, I hope Ms' legend would have a healthy baby this time, may the great four bless her.

I mean yeah, but they're one of the most powerful in the hand of the player, which I think is what legend was trying to say
