When bvs was announced people literally gave too shits about avengers 2, when Aaron Taylor Johnson was cast as quicksilver no one gave a shit, ultron will be the villain no one gives a shit cause of bvs, and also I bet most of the people if they had the power to replace avengers 2 and bvs they would do it so that bvs would come out earlier. Sadly bvs was bad so all the hype for nothing. Avengers 2 was also bad. But cap 3 was awesome.
DC has more memorable villains and they predate marvel. DC has more house hold name villains. Lex, Grood, Zod, Joker, Riddler. Batman alone has villains that can and have had their own stand alone books movies and animations. Don't negate what DC brings to the table because you have a hard on for Marvel.

I think it's because he doesn't have *that* much experience with them because, as he said, his filmography is pretty crappy outside of the CA movies. He's never been in something as big as the Marvel Universe before so he's had the spotlight thrust upon him pretty suddenly and so there's a massive pressure on him all at once and he'll just take time to adjust to that.
