Beachy Head Lighthouse

With awful weather forecast up north. we couldn't stay at home, so we headed for the coast.
for a long time, some of us had looked down from Beachy Head and thought it would be great to go to the Lighthouse.
we checked the tides, and had a fun afternoon amongst stunning white cliffs and of course, the #Lighthouse. #Beachyhead #uk

FIRST CLASS video ! I have been visiting Beachy Head since I was a kid but have never seen it from the beach or seen the lighthouse that close. The quality of your filming is SUPERB. Thanks once again for the video.

Some guy was on a documentary about beachy head saying people come from all over world to end their existence here! He said it’s really bad in some cases body’s turn inside out!👀 whatever that means but for sure it’s a sad sad place! Good footage lads👍

Yes I did wonder what bit works. There's a box on the front. I thought maybe an led modern light or something.....no idea 🤣

Thanks for commenting... It's about 30 min from memory. We timed it last time I did it lighthouse at low tide...an hour from pub car park...plenty of time

What time did you arrive at the beach to see the lighthouse at lowtide?

You need to look on line. If you Google tide times at Eastbourne. Look for low tide....it changes 👌

The Rotating Light was canceled few years ago. It rotated on Mercury. The Mercury ( Quite a Lot ) was removed. So Light off & Stationary.
