Seeing you play on the Devolver tour was still one of my favourite shows. Reuben has been a big part of my life since I discovered you guys in high school as well, thank you for all the music Jamie!
I'm sure others will agree that we are lucky to have the back catalogue that you've worked so hard to produce over the last decade, and love you for that but also for taking the tough step to look after yourself. Big love, Jamie x
Your music has been an absolute inspiration and you have such an incredible body of eclectic aural art you’ve produced, which you should be immensely proud of! It’s so sad to see this chapter come to a close, as I feel privileged to have witnessed so many of your amazing live performances, but you need to look after yourself first! Will always support whatever you do! Legend!
Wow, makes me all the more grateful to have been at the one night stand waterloo show.. looking forward to seeing what’s next for you.. big love.. you are genuinely my favourite songwriter of all the times x
All the best Jamie, I've been a fan of your work for as long as I can remember, and am so glad I got to catch your show at Waterloo. I look forward to seeing where you go from here, and I know you'll go from strength to strength in what ever you choose to do.
Your music and banter has shaped my life over the past 2 decades. I guess you have your reasons for stepping back and I believe all your fans will respect them. I suspect there's still a thousand songs in your bones though, such a shame we'll never hear them, probably end up with a Razorlight reunion concert instead 😕 All the best
This is not the greatest news for most people, but having been involved in the music industry, having gigged, been through weeks and months of recording, and having experienced the exhaustion of trying to take on loads of work as well as be a sane person, I am happy to hear this. I'm glad you recognised this about yourself and that you felt better after having made sure of the decision. I find that people who have never been in gigging bands (especially as the multitasking frontperson/songwriter/producer/director/visual artist/etc.) can't really understand how much energy keeping that ship afloat takes. To do it at a high level for over two decades is a feat to be commended. I'll never begrudge anybody who has worked that hard and realised they need a lengthy break. Thanks for all the music and memories up to this point and I hope you can one day return with full force, if that is what suits you. I hope you get out of the following few years exactly what you need and want, Jamie.

Love that you're branching out with your creativity. I hope you accomplish all your goals outside of the music industry. We appreciate your music man!

I connected massively to the Atheist, thanks for some absolute gems dude!.
Sad news mate, but sound like you've put a lot of sweat and tears and biscuits behind the decision... 27 years ;)
Best of luck!
