      @@creekyknee Why would you say she was unhinged? She just challenged your belief system. Gay Bryne displayed his ignorance and lack of understanding of someone who was on a true spiritual path of finding themselves. You could be right about the more clicks thing but as for Sinead, absolutely nothing she said here is offensive, she is promoting love and compassion which is sadly missing in today's world and in 1999. She was ahead of her time. We all know the Vatican is a big political institution and does not always represent the teachings of Jesus Christ. The real problem is Gay's generation gave them far too much power and they abused it so much that they fucked up the psychic and of their community, unfortunately, we now live in a time where there are no spiritual values or very little. We are effectively lost sheep with no connection to spirit. Here in Ireland, it's really sad to see how far down we have gone for a country that one time was so grounded in spiritual values. May you rest in peace, Sinead O Connor. Your light will shine for some time.

I am stronger than ever now, so please take it from me that there is always a way through no matter what your head tells you. There is a solution to every problem. Not sure what your issues are, but reflect on how far you have come. Don't let your ego (inner chatter and conditioning) drag you down. Focus on your creativity and divine nature. You are a spiritual being having a human experience. You are here for a reason and to learn lessons that will create more freedom in your life. Tune into the silent nature of your true being, such as through meditation or contemplation. Because the rest of it - all the fears and intrusive thoughts - are really just smoke and mirrors and *always* pass showing they are not ultimately real. It takes time, but it works.

    • @swannoir7949
      @swannoir7949 Год назад +8

      @@soleknight3212 But it's not smoke n mirrors I'm dealing with. I, too 'called out the system' like Sinead, and have been paying the price for it for over 20 years. My misdiagnosis of bi-polar caused me to be on meds that made me manic and reactionary. Then dealing with people who would intentionally provoke to take my kids, too (just for the money my father left me). Those same kids no longer want me in their lives because I'm 'toxic' in their eyes, though I've been looking for a qualified trauma therapist for the last 7 years . This feels like a death to me, so I can only imagine how Sinead felt. My only saving Grace is my granddaughter who loves me unconditionally and who stands up for me, because there are days I feel like doing what she did, but to me, doing so would mean that the devil won, and I just can't let him have that victory. But being misdiagnosed all these years meant that I didn't address the roots of my issues in a time when it could've helped me learn to be a better mother, which you don't learn growing up in dysfunction. It's a hard pill to swallow, and none of my prayers were answered, so my only prayer is for the creator to give me the strength to live until he calls me home. I feel so bad for Sinead and what happened to her son, but all of her suicide attempts is probably what made him do what he did. It's just a sad thing all the way around for her. I can't get her out of my head. R.I.P. Shane and Sinead. I hope your souls are in a better place, and now you can finally heal. And thank you for you caring comment.

    IMO I think what she rebelled against was the overarching reach and abuse of those individuals that are powerfully placed and powerfully protected solely for the purposes of protecting their own power, when the deeds should have been persecuted, not protected.
    I don’t agree with everything that she has said, but I also didn’t see the world through her life experience. You can disagree with someone, no problem with an individual deciding not to buy a record, but I do have issue with the orchestrated attack and information campaign by the powerful to silence her.

    Render unto Ceaser that which is Ceaser's and unto God that which is God's. Sinead certainly belongs to God. Such strength in her gentleness, as she repeatedly asked, "Can she sing her song now, please." The host was set on his interrogation.

      Not really funny haha though ? Rural Ireland in particular sneered and scoffed. Why shouldn't a woman be lawfully ordained as a priest ?! When this aired divorce had crept in by a tiny minority and Ireland was really still very conservative. not much more liberal than say Croatia
      Now the RCC is still only allowing men, to bask in other men's wealth, often with bigotry and their own special breed of deplorable behaviour. Women have been able to be vicars and ministers in Britain for ages.

    A happier time for Sinead surely when she was Christian. God bless her and now Lord Jesus have great mercy on her judgement. It's now she needs our prayers when she is currently being judged before the Throne of God. Her life is over now . Thank God she made charitable donations and put her faith into real Actions. She wasn't a hypocrite in that regard. It's a pity she became a Muslim. I preferred her when she was a happy Christian. R.I.P dear Sinead.
