She ripped up the picture of the Pope in 1992. I wonder if that would have been problematic for her to become a priest. I also wonder at what point she gave up being a priest and why.
IMO I think what she rebelled against was the overarching reach and abuse of those individuals that are powerfully placed and powerfully protected solely for the purposes of protecting their own power, when the deeds should have been persecuted, not protected. I don’t agree with everything that she has said, but I also didn’t see the world through her life experience. Does anyone know where the full broadcast is? 🙏
Superstitious graffiti nonsense
I am looking but can't find it yet. I am very interested to hear the rest.
Programme called Late Late Show with Gay Byrne. RTE Television
This guy makes me want to puke…..Love you Saint Sinead !!!!!!
What are you saying…
She's powerful
A very unique soul in a very disturbed world.
Watching this and then seeing what passes as female artists today just makes me depressed. Lol
She finally converted to Islam and became a Muslim
IMO I think what she rebelled against was the overarching reach and abuse of those individuals that are powerfully placed and powerfully protected solely for the purposes of protecting their own power, when the deeds should have been persecuted, not protected.
I don’t agree with everything that she has said, but I also didn’t see the world through her life experience. You can disagree with someone, no problem with an individual deciding not to buy a record, but I do have issue with the orchestrated attack and information campaign by the powerful to silence her.
Too good for the music industry. A seeker and embraced a lot of religions- the common thread was faith. Faith should be respected, hard to keep it these days.
Render unto Ceaser that which is Ceaser's and unto God that which is God's. Sinead certainly belongs to God. Such strength in her gentleness, as she repeatedly asked, "Can she sing her song now, please." The host was set on his interrogation.
"..bright eyes, how can you close and fail?.."
Some day people will look back on today's belief in gods, magic, astrology, etc. the way we look at witch doctors and cults- I already do.
Women should be ❤ allowed to be ordained
❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉fantastic ❤❤❤xxx❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
This would have been too _avant garde_ even for Derek and Clive or Monty Python.
{:o:O:}
Contradicts herself saying shes ordained then keeping calling out Jah Rastafari
This woman didn’t know what she wanted to be. Deluded
So sweet
Sinead was a true gnostic and this is why she wasn’t accepted by the church. Or just one of the reasons.

Making a charitable contribution and then take it back!?
She explained why she did that very clearly. Listen to the interview again, she explained it twice.
She said rastafarai
How does he not know what she believes, when she told him repeatedly what she believes to be so?
Modern day Joan of Arc, with a bit of Les Miserables tossed in.
I was just thinking the same thing
OK, so did she ever sing a song here?
Rastafari! Dread Eye!
Why is he so aggressive and nasty with her?
Funny but very sad she's gone..
Not really funny haha though ? Rural Ireland in particular sneered and scoffed. Why shouldn't a woman be lawfully ordained as a priest ?! When this aired divorce had crept in by a tiny minority and Ireland was really still very conservative. not much more liberal than say Croatia
Now the RCC is still only allowing men, to bask in other men's wealth, often with bigotry and their own special breed of deplorable behaviour. Women have been able to be vicars and ministers in Britain for ages.
And then she was a Muslim, great talent but a troubled lady, RIP and sleep well.
No rip in the Islam
A happier time for Sinead surely when she was Christian. God bless her and now Lord Jesus have great mercy on her judgement. It's now she needs our prayers when she is currently being judged before the Throne of God. Her life is over now . Thank God she made charitable donations and put her faith into real Actions. She wasn't a hypocrite in that regard. It's a pity she became a Muslim. I preferred her when she was a happy Christian. R.I.P dear Sinead.
Prince Andrew loves this comment
i always saw how beautiful and nourishing you were Sinead!! sorry others didnt. ignorants.
