Madonna mocked Sinead O'Connor by ripping up a picture of Joey Buttafuoco. It was an act of mocking Sinead and narcissism on Madonna's part.
Sidenote: Sinead's death parallels with Lisa Marie Presley's.

Sadly this was not done by her as a statement but as a means of survival. The original reason she shaved her head was to make herself less attractive. To reduce sexual abuse and rape based on the things she saw and was subject to as a child and teen. She talks about it in an old interview. She mentions not being raped ( if true...) but witnessing what was done to her friends in the catholic institution she was placed in. She talks about this in an old interview. It's about 22 minutes long. She says this outright.

Unfortunately Sinead O'Connor didn't talk out against the LGBT community where these predators came she actually tried to victim-blaming blame Christianity for what members of the atheistic humanist LGBT community did to our children.
Also didn't she become a Muslim.
She didn't hate the Catholic church because of child abuse she hated the Catholic church because the Irish Catholics in the Irish Protestants were always at war
If it was about child abuse she wouldn't have became a Muslim and she would have exposed the atheistic humanist LGBT unity. I bet she said nothing about drag queen story hour.

She told the absolute truth when she said "fight the real enemy" bc unfortunately that was her experience as with way too many others of the Catholic and other religious faiths. We all know now how the church covered up sexual misconduct and abuse but Sinead knew from experience. This is why she acted so angry and hurt all the time. She was. She was no angel but no one deserves to go unheard. She did. It would be great if the Church issued an apology to her, even posthumously but the would mean admitting openly they participated in a cover up so it will probably never happen.

In her book she specifically talks about the serious adverse affects of a hysterectomy that she had, supposedly to help with her endometriosis pain. This brought on early menopause symptoms like a tsunami. The peri/menopause years can be a real struggle for most women, and suicide in women rises during this period of time, with the average age being 51. I’m 51 this year….l can relate.
Many women suffer with these hormonal changes and there is is very little help or support.
Sinead mentions that she was sent home with some paracetamol and no follow up care, no HRT….
For women who are already carrying a weight on their shoulders, the menopause years can be the straw that breaks the camels back. Women on the “high functioning” side of the autism spectrum often suffer with suicide/ideation,and are one of the most high risk groups as their autism is often missed, or misdiagnosed with other disorders such as bi polar, BPD, schizophrenia etc…and they tend to be able to mask their symptoms and difficulties better than autistic males.
There are serious failings from what is often a misogynistic medical world that has largely ignored the female body and treated us like mini males, despite the very obvious differences.
The band aid approach to dealing with mental health issues is never going to give people the support they truly need and a society that lacks true community, acceptance and support, is going to keep creating an environment that makes it difficult for us to not only survive but thrive.
Millions of middle aged women are suffering and most of society doesn’t care. We are the “hags”, the “Karen’s”, the “witches” who become invisible
Once we are considered unfuckable. The way society treats older women obviously plays a huge role in their psyche, and whilst we may embrace not being horribly objectified, it would be nice to be still seen as worthy human beings who can still add to society.
Sinead was such a role model for me as a teen in the 80’s, her rebellion, her gender rebellion, her anger and passion and sensitivity…she showed girls like me that there was more than one way to be a woman…l’ve always had a thing for women with shaved heads ever since!
I’ve followed her career through the last 30 years and I hoped she would hang on in there when I saw she was so clearly struggling. I was saddened to see her crying out for help in such a public way, many times over, over the last years.
I’ve seen first have how society treats people with have mental health issues, as my own mother was diagnosed with schizophrenia (I suspect she was on the autism spectrum). You’re treated like a leper.
Childhood trauma can last a lifetime, and whilst we may have the energy and the anger in our youth to fight it off, it often rears its ugly head in our later years.. and it gets harder to fight back when you are struggling with all that life throws at you and the physical toll of an ageing and body and it’s hormonal changes.
This woman was a Shero to me way back then, and still to me now. Not because she was perfect, but because she was imperfect, flawed, raw, real and all the obvious amazing qualities and talent she had.
She was shamefully treated like a social leper many times over through out her career, and when she needed help the most, when she was vulnerable and laid bare, it was tumbleweeds at dawn.
Let her death be a wake up call to a society that is failing our most vulnerable.
With mental health issues amongst children and teens teens skyrocketing in recent years, we need to face up to the fact that whatever we are doing, we are doing it wrong.
RIP Sinead. Forever a Rebel ❤

Thank you Karine for covering her. Her death has really hit me. I have been a fan of her music and her no-nonsense courage to speak up when it was not the popular thing to do. It could have cost her her life. I remember that SNL scandal period well. I felt on an intuitive level that she was telling the truth all along. It is typical for society to still label women as crazy when they speak their voice. A friend of mine sister, was labeled, "schizophrenic." I kept saying that the girl is normal. One day when visiting, their family priest grabbed me by my chest from behind while I was sitting in the backyard. I screamed and told him about himself. The sister who was labeled, "Schizophrenic" started wailing, "Nobody believed me!" That wail haunts me to this day.
Sinead' you were a groundbreaker, fearless, hauntingly beautiful, strong and feminine. You spoke up against racism when others remained silent. You gave voice to power. You were not afraid to challenge the status quo. You asked questions. How relevant is this is today at this moment when we as women are denied to have our own sports, and places just for us.
I was playing, "Put your hands on me" just two weeks ago.
As for the Prince story...some good looking men go nuts when you reject them. I had seen Prince close up and I thought then there is something about his eyes. And this is coming from someone who was a big fan.
Sinead in my opinion did not expose too much. She was living an authentic unedited life.

@@idonotdrinkcocacolaanymore9742 Priests were allowed to marry during the first 1000 years of the catholic church. But, the catholic church wanted the money and the land priests were leaving to their children, so, they changed the rules. This was a perfect recipe for what happened next. Ped0$ tend to congregate where they have trust of and power over parents and children. In addition, war isn't the only way to gain money, resources and control.
That's why we must be ever diligent about our own countries which claim to be democracies but by the day are slipping into tyranny with finding ways to steal money from the middle classes to the rich and creating wars of choice and trying to institutionalize censorship.
Trying to force the psychopathy of the few onto the many. For example, inoculating the many with toxins so that rich, crazy psychopaths who think there's too many people and humans don't need free will can have their way and rule the day. And, we're finding a significant number of these same rich, crazy paychopaths are also Ped0$.

@@morticiagomez6166The Catholic Church would have translated the Bible into English, except that Catholics were busy being slaughtered in England. That is why the Douay-Rhiems version was translated in France, in French. The Church compiled and canonized the first Bible, in 397 A.D., without which you would not have the version you read.
Your comments suggest that you are unaware that Catholic bibles, as well as the daily Scripture readings contained in the church missalettes, ARE in English (or the vernacular according to the primary language of a location) since Vatican II, with Latin and Greek only in certain specific parts of the Mass. Latin is the primary language only in the Traditional Latin Mass.

If you want to see how the devil works, look at what happened as a result of the vatican. It was all by design by a pagan, yet no matter what I see and say, people will defend it to the death.
