Pretty sure this video is a reupload, but I have to say, no matter when it was shot, it is so so inspiring to see these dudes still embodying the fun they had when they were young, now at age 50.
I got to see the Chin ramp a couple months ago, not open to skate or even get close enough to touch... sigh. Seeing this ramp in person brought me back to my child hood when I first watch the film and it reignited a huge flame for skateboarding. I'm 44yrs old and skating again, but this go around is with my son. Thank you Bones Brigade and thank you skateboarding!
Thanks guys wow I remember watching your video in 86 you were my Sk8 board hero’s. Now at 50 I don’t SK8 today but I really still enjoy watching you guys Sk8 and think of the good times when I had posters of you guys and when I was a teenager trying to do the things you guys did. You’re all the GOATS and still are thank you. Chin will live on!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. This had to be the BEST gift they could have ever received. Always wished I could have skated that ramp. Now I can. Bucket list for sure , especially since I hit 50 this year.
This is still my favorite skate video since I was young. I would watch it over and over and put it in for my friends after watching Fulfill The Dream. I still watch it at least once every summer. I still jam out to the Jazz Lounge scene. I don’t think it’s bad acting at all. It captures a time in skateboarding perfectly. I asked Steve Caballero at Woodward about the Chin ramp around 1999. I had so many questions because none of this was ever answered to the skateboard community. This movie had such an effect on me that I actually thought Animal Chin was a real person the first time I watched. I bought into everything so much that I was disappointed in Steve’s answers to my questions. But nevertheless I still love and respect this movie.
Proud owner of the original VHS. My parents still have it packed up with all my stuff when I left for college. Can wait to go through it all one day and show it to my kids.
I’m so fortunate to have been 12 years old in 86 when things came out. I can’t even begin to explain the enormous impact the Bones Brigade had on the underground skate scene back then, all over the world. And without the invention of the vcr, video cassette recorders who knows what would have been ?? Forever the Bones Brigade 🤙🏻🙏🏻🙂

I found animal chin at a party in Jersey in 96. Best skate “movie “ ever.
💕😭animal chin that search for unabated freedom, joy, utter creative potential of human essence. The search for Animal Chin is the meaning of life itself. Self discovery.
Hosoias there and we didn't get a shot of a rocket air?!? Heresy!!! But in all seriousness this embodies why nostalgia is so powerful. Things we didn't realize we would take up a special place in our minds are brought back out and only then do we realize how special those times were and how much power they have.
Never actually skated before. But I was an only child and Tony hawks pro skater was my first video game ever. It’s crazy to see my childhood hero with gray hair but the same voice 😭😭
billy collins nah pretty sure he just doesn’t do vert like that anymore. He honestly prolly doesn’t wanna get a bad slam and who can blame him. For the rest of them they been non stop skating vert.
I was watching Tommy's Gonz interview. He doesnt really skate much even on street. He just pushes around. Maybe do a grind. He is more into his music career these days.
I could watch the Bones Brigade guys all day. What an amazing group of people
This hit me right in the feelings.... Again

Originally aired on ABC's "World of X Games" in 2016, "The Search Is Never Over"
I seem to remember seeing a short version. This seems expanded. Or maybe I never saw the full version.

Down in memory lane. What a great 👍 video
Steve Caballero could do an old man skating prank but instead of needing make up he’d just be him as he is 😂👊🏽
