Weaving In Ends - 3 Ways | Knitting Tutorial for Beginners | Garter & Stockinette Stitch

- This knitting lesson is all about how to 'weave in your ends' - or, in other words, secure your yarn tails once you've finished knitting.
The first method I'll show you will be the invisible 'duplicate stitch' method of weaving in and I'll be doing that on garter stitch. Then the next 2 methods will be quicker but will have more visible results.
How exactly you weave in depends on what stitch you are weaving into the back of. I can't cover every eventuality so just remember that if you want to hide the yarn tail, try and follow the path of the yarn already in the knitting.
I hope you like the video!
(Chunky yarn, knit with 6 mm needles.)

Excellently clear explanation. I've been making a mess of weaving in ends for at least 60 years (sad, I know), but now I have hope to *not* end up with a big lump in the corner and/or my yarn tails just coming undone and waving at me tragically. Thank you!
:D 'waving at me tragically' :D I'm so glad it helped you!
