@@Hayachyy its when the streams are so spaced that there are lines between the notes, the lines are know as follow points. When a stream has follow points means it is REALLY spaced

I removed all the streams in the map changing it to sliderkick jumps, made cs bigger, and buffed the jumps a bit and it’s still 10 stars lol

I still think the chorus has too many jumps, like when the singer prolongs her words, I should expect a slider then continuing the jumps, but j guess it'll make it no longer a 10* or smth

No. a lot of ranked mappers have followed vocals and even exclusively followed vocals. As long as the vocal stays on the grid it is a viable method when following a rhythm that is loud and clear (vocal). Japanese language is very much syllables based which means that most songs lyrics follow the grid which also make vocaloid songs easier to make in japanese than english (without sounding awkward at least). The only exceptions when vocal isn't following the grid the mapper will have to follow another prominent instrument such as Drums.
Example maps that follow vocals even at the cost of changing the drum hitsounds pattern than the original song : Junna-Here(Mirash)
Usually mappers map everything that is significantly loud or memorable at a segment including vocal, guitar solo, and of course drums. Guitar and vocal is really not that different as long as if it follows the grid and it is the lead melody, mappers should be able to map it.
When the main lead vocal doesn't follow the grid that the other instruments most prominently drum use. Mapper then would go for non vocal notes. Example : Ariabl'eyes-Kegare Naki bara Juuji. and of course this song camellia flying out the sky. Because the vocal aren't following the grid of the other instrument. but its still have a grid on its own.
in case you didn't get it yet when I'm talking about grid im talking about ticks in tempo. Japanese song lyrics especially anime rarely go in between ticks. Usually even in between they are in division of the ticks like 1/4 1/6 1/8.
Also length of Jumps shouldn't be determined by the pitch but by the loudness and how immediate the impact of the sound. Pitch should determine orientation if you are a visual mapper.
Again to elaborate what I meant about japanese syllable based language. Is that every syllables pretty much have a constant space inbetween even when they slowdown usually the space sticks to the grid.
When the chorus has vocals that kind of slowdown mappers often prolong the intensity by following the intense drum because jump=pp
In which again in my opinion this song is not intense enough to be a 10*. it should be 9* max 7-8* prefereable.

while mou ii kai is higher bpm/ar/od, the jumps and streams are VERY spaced here, more so than mou ii kai (which is 6.8* nomod)
Although mou ii kai does set the point of what used to be considered not doable by most, this one is a no brainer too with those spaced streams and high bpm. Hopefully there will be FC on one of them and set the record for the first 10* FC

This is just my theory and speculation, so ofc I'd be wrong in some parts but, If i remember correctly, Logical Stimulus and Raise My Sword is almost has streams as spaced as this, and the speed matches Everything will Freeze or Yomi Yori with HR or NoMod, some jumps are as fast as, lets say a 1-2 map with 3mod.
( I can't tell, I don't play DT ), and the circle size for those jumps looks like Cry Thunder or any DragonForce map with CS that small (It looks like 5.5)
whoever fced maps like these will have a chance to fc or choke a 1.5kpp play in this map, yet again I don't play these types of maps, so its just all theory, and I'm not sure about it yet.
