well - all the files made up exactly 11.0 gb? sure they're auto-generated with static content repeated all over again - so the compression can build a rather small dictonary and just keep repeating the pointers - try compress 11gb of real data with high entropy - you're lucky if you get even - often high entropy data even increase the actual data size as it adds overhead not in the actual data ...

Absolutely..it’s nearly impossible to compress high entropy data such as movies/photos weighing over tens of gigabytes into a file less than 1GB

I Tried to compress a movie which was 713MB before Compressing and after Compressing it was 714MB. Not Worked
bro WinRar can Compress Files not Media Files, If you want to compress Media Files, Use Handbrake Software. I hope you Understand.

I've done exactly what you did but the compression ratio is not less than 98%, I've tried a variety of files videos, photos and other formats, it's not working.
because database files can compress more than other files. this video was just clickbait.
Well not universally usable, try compress video file using those setting, n bam , not many changes. Those bin might just empty string file , so it can be compressed that way
if you are checking if this works then the answer is yes! but there's no way you can compress 11GB into 500KB! and that's a fact! but I did manage to Compress 20GB to 11.2GB though so its not all false information.good luck🤞

I tried to compress Assassin's Creed syndicate which was 23.6GB before Compressing and after Compressing it was 23.6GB. Nothing changed. It took almost 50 minutes to compressed.Not worked for me.Any solution?
i am ultra compressing the game setup of 10gb and do accordingly as you have shown here and then after processing of 10 mins of compressing it comes again with 10gb of winrar file.I mean why it so happening?
My file size was approximately 50.8 GB. When I clicked 'OK,' the elapsed time initially showed 464 hours, 13 minutes, and 50 seconds, which seemed like a dream, but it turned out to be a bug. Later, upon rechecking, the correct time was displayed as 16 hours, 10 minutes, and 45 seconds, and that made me happy :)

My folder only got 1 pdf file with 111mb size and I try to make it small, after compression using this method, it only become 68.7 mb only
Not all that highly compressed would be so tiny, some format doesnt fit the dictionary, so its need to be using its old dictionary

Game is around 4GB, developers also can't compress their games because these type of games have high graphics and high graphics games can't be compressed therefore San Andreas also can't be compressed but you can split them using WinRar into small Files So that you can share them easily :D

Dude WinRar can't compress Game or Graphics file. You can use KGB archiver for the games and graphics.

You can not compress media files with WinRar, you have to use another software. You can use HANDBRAKE Software or try this

Rar4 is the 4th version of Rar, it's has special decompressing and compressing cores, and it's available in some previous versions and latest version of WinRar.

What type of files can be compressed Much better? And what is its File Format?
If you want badass compression, try KGB archiver. But it's a shot in the dark. You don't really know if it will work, since the compression algorithms aren't very precise and data can corrupt depending on your processing power or things like that.
All files are not compressed at so high rate.

There is a point, few comments down why sometimes compressed files have more data, so if that happens... I either try to use different compression format or settings or sometime just leave it unpacked.
