Bangtan literally means bulletproof. It's their name. Idol in korea has a different meaning. It dosent mean superstars. It's the term used to describe what americans see as 'kpop'. The term kpop is not used in Korea. They use idol to describe these bands that debut with a company and sing and dance.. What's so different for SUGA and RM who leads this particular song is that they came from the underground scene. RM was a really respected (feared almost) writer and SUGA was an up and coming producer. So them suddenly joining a boyband who dance and have these clean images (which the underground people consider fake) was not taken well by their peers. Which is why people from the underground scene are dissing them. It's basically passing judgment on them for 'selling out'. And bts dosent fit the idol image either. In a later cypher RM references the time when he was called 'not an idol face'. BTS didnt fit the extreame beauty standards of the industry. So they got hate from both sides..
RM was well known in the underground rap scene as Runch Randa when he was a teen (I'm talking 14, 15 years old) and ppl were scared to go against him 😂 he's insanely good. He's so skilled and his lyricism... *chef's kiss*. He has collaborated as a songwriter on at least 90% of BTS' discography.

I am reacting to reaction video and I like your style. You're not just for the Hype. You are not over reacting ,you dive on their lyric and trying to understand to meaning behind the lyric and music video.
bangtan is bts, their group name in korean is Bangtan Sonyeondan, you’ll hear them say it like that a lot of the times especially when introducing themselves in award shows etc
Yeayy.. finally pt 2. Btw do you pay attention these chyper series siga always the one closing the rapp as he spits dire and booom!!👏🔥💥 Damn they good,,,no one ready for the rapper line bts.. Dont forget to watch their concert live performance chypher, this live perfomance just wow. 🤩crazy!! Btw.. Supreme boi is a rapper underground and the original first line bts as RM, SUGA, JHOPE which is first for vocalline but then learn rap and bexome rapper line, why supreme boi left? Because big hit somehiw change bts from hip hop grup become idol grup then Supreme Boi left the group because he didn't feel he was a good fit for becoming a member of an idol group, Even after option out of being a BTS member, he remained part of Big Hit and still part of BTS become a producer and songwriter under BigHit Entertainment and produces/writes for both BTS and TXT. Supreme Boi infacts has been a producer and song writer under BigHit for over 7 years.. Am a big fan of these btd rapper line, again.. JHOPE, flow god, a free happy hip hop soul rapper RM, word play genius, intellect rapper SUGA, tongue technology, savage, strong, fierce and splits a fire, bold, some said rapper god in his unique way😉😎
I don't think Suga dislikes rap where they tell about their lives; he has his own AMAZING rap/song called, "The Last," talking about his struggles in his life, HOWEVER, BTS also uses their raps to encourage change (example: Ugh, Cypher 4). I think it's just the ones who just solely whine & are negative (B-Free..cough cough...)
when you're done with the cyphers, I recommend you watch Cypher Medley 2017, Suga performs his verse LIVE and the whole performance is so fire like we all wished we were at that performance
Thank u so much for listening to each verse without pausing!! They have a whole another power when u listen without pause! And thank you for checking the lyrics! BTS rap line are such INCREDIBLE lyricists, and they make a lot of language play, puns, korean references, it's sooooo interesting to get to understand what they're saying on their songs!
just watch who is bts the 7 members of bts and nobodies to legends 2019 or how bts were treated unfairly in korea.....u will understand the songs ....the lyrics hold no meaning unless you dig deeper into where they came from....it will explain alot :) as with most artists ...yeah this stuff is from the height of being discriminated against...but they kept going :) carsh course to bts 2020 will explain why they have such a diverse fandom :)
@danni _05 its not out dated ! It shows who they are and where they came from...a beginning is never outdated. The personalities of who they were are there
@danni _05 i also gave a timeline of who is the 7 members....then the 2019 and 2020 recap nothing is outdated when u start at the beginning :) purple luv
@danni _05 It's kinda outdated rn but think of it as an intro before Nobodies to Legends series. Back when Who Is BTS came out it was the best intro vid out there, anyway.
once you've listened to all cyphers I HIGLEY recommend the cypher medly they did for the wings tour. bts songs are always better live which is pretty insane if you ask me :) that said I love that you actually take your time to go through the lyrics. for some context yoongi (suga) and namjoon (RM) were both underground rappers and they were looked down by their peers when they became idols (they were called sellouts and "girls" because they put make up on to go on stage, to some korean rappers hip hop is about "macho" culture, they really don't know sh*t 😅😅) and throughout the 4 cyphers they responded to their haters which by the way its a very bangtan thing to do. all their history and emotions are in their lyrics. thank you so much for this vid, can't wait for the next one. once you finish this you might want to check their song "hip hop phile" and the live performance, I think you'll like it :) take care!! 💜💜
You should really watch the 2017 Cypher Medley. That performance was incredible! I think you would like Cypher 4 as well. Thanks for supporting our guys!
I love your reactions. Not many reactors out there looks up the lyrics and analyze them too. I love music because of the lyrics this is why you're now one of my faves reactors.
Wow, another great reaction! I appreciate how much you dig into the beats, delivery & the lyrical meaning, Dave. BTW, unlike Chinese, Korean is not a character-based language. Each letter in the Korean alphabet equals a sound, like English. (Actually Korean is one of the easier alphabets to learn; I can sound it out but I am still working on word comprehension. Korea has one of the highest literacy rates in the world.)
If you wanna hear a song full of changing flows & cadences I recommend you to go check RM 'Joke' Oh and please check RM's collab with WALE 'Change' too
You would have watched the introduction to BTS first before watching their Cypher series - in doing so, you would have understood and appreciated the underlying meaning of their lyrics. 💜💜💜 There is a deeper meaning in their lyrics. I kinda smiled how you interpreted the reference on Pride and Chrysler. They are analogies dissing their haters - if you got Pride (car), I’m a Chrysler (car). 🤓
Cypher series is series of diss tracks. RM and Suga were part of underground hip-hop scene before their debut as BTS (idol group). One of the people who insulted them calling them a sell out and being like girls coz they put on make-up was B-Free....he was mentioned when you were reading lyrics. Anyway a lot of people criticised them in the beginning and BTS has been fighting a lot of haters with these cyphers. In their newer songs, they address this saying they don't care about labels (idol, artist...) As long as their music and message gets to as many people as possible, that's enough. Also if they are earning money while doing what they love, isn't that great? Why must they struggle and sit in a tiny pond (with small audience) when they can rule the global scene as they are doing now.... You will see a lot of metaphors in their lyrics and it takes a little knowledge of their culture to understand as well. Doolset has pretty good explanation so you'll understand it but I just wanted to say their lyrics don't always mean what they literally say.
I recommend to watch the cypher medleys after you watch the lyrics videos. The lives are definitely another even better flavour and the chemistry between them is top notch! :)
Adding on to what others said about largely manufactured idol industry in Korea, idol rappers are considered as "trashy" and not real rappers by most of the people and even kpop fans. Most of them have learnt how to "rap" during their trainees days in the company before debut. Also, it is known that lots of them were appointed as "rappers" because they can't sing or have not "appropriate" for the singing voices. Kpop idol rappers are largely pretty bad at what they do and ignorant about rap/hip-hop as art itself. Most also can't write lyrics at all. There are some individuals who have come to the company already as good rappers and/or lyricists and producers (like RM and SUGA), or some who actually dedicated themselves to learning all about rap and hip-hop history, and diligently practised their craft to became real good rappers (like J-Hope). There are a few like that in the whole kpop industry, like 15-20 out of 100. Generally, idols are pretty restricted in many things by their company. It includes their artistry AND private life. Most are not allowed to write or produce, to intervene in album or performance creation and have to do as their managers say. Some are restricted in things like talking with friends, going out or even having a personal phone (those extremes are rare now but still exist). Any presence on TV or before media is 10000 times rehearsed and controlled. Still, there are some groups who are much freer (like BTS) as their companies value artistic input of their idols. Recently, more and more companies started giving idols space to create music on their own due to groups like BTS and Seventeen popularity (who self-produce most of their stuff).
Loved you reaction ❤️ please react to 'strange' by agust d(Suga) and rm from D-2(suga' s mixtape). They talk about sensitive topics and the way they convey the message is really cool.
The thing about some rappers is, they can be complain about things in their rap, maybe in some situation that could be the best or that needed awakaner. But in today's society, it is not ultimate thing what people need. Everyone has voice to complain. We have a say "once man gets drunk, everyone becomes politics". It means they don't do anything about it (don't even try) but just complain or judge. There comes that ultimate difference between successful & not successful people. Successful people don't complain(often). They try to do stg about it. But in hip-hop, because that calling out & complaining was seen as cool, some people thought they can be proud about failure(not in every meaning. I meant as lazy people, who feel like everyone gotta spoon feed them) life. Everyone can judge. Everyone can talk talk. But without having stg that they have done for stg they preach, it is just bla. Even me judging others, talking for an hour as if I know all, looks so stupid. Think about all those rappers, whose raps are all about complaining in today's society. That kind of rappers were dissing BTS. At that time BTS were young kids, who were working for their dream. As adults, one should supporting kids'(they were between 17 & 20(i don't exactly remember their age.) But that is young kids to me.) dream, instead their peers blindly dissed them, throw water to these kids' heart. They just looked down on them just because they were boygroup, without even giving a look into their work. 2 of BTS' rappers were underground rappers. They were respected & supported by their peers. Once they get into boyband, they became that betrayers or whatever bs. and that their rap is no more hip-hop. But you know who respected BTS? Korea real hip-hop OG legend, Drunken Tiger. BTS' leader RM changed Drunken Tiger's perspective about rapper of boyband. Imagine beating prejudice & changing someone's perspective... That is huge! That has been the the whole career life of BTS. Those loser rappers were just losers, who preach hip-hop on the outside, but didn't understand hip-hop core & imitated black rappers without understanding why it was seen as cool. They thought being hip-hop rapper means being "underground", having no real job, just dissing others, looking down on women, talking about sex, car, chain... BTS songs are documentary of their life & mindset/thoughts of them at that time. BTS never diss someone, who hasn't done anything wrong. BTS don't earn money by complaining about life, pointing fingers at random people. Their songs are meant to help others. Their songs are hopeful because they want to give strength to people. But it doesn't mean they will ignorantly cheer or sugarcoat situations. In some time they can be brutally honest. But those all come from good place.(heart/intention) BTS dissed people with chain. But it doesn't mean they think that way about every single rappers who brag about chains. In fact they learned rap from people who talked about chains in some of their songs. But it was directed to some Korean rappers, who just imitate black rappers ignorantly. The song had some parts about OG rappers. But it doesn't mean they are disrespectful towards real OG rappers or people who are older than them. They are respectful. RM even call Drunken Tiger dad in Drunken Tiger's song Timeless.Drunke Tiger wanted him to boost(brag about his life, achievements) but instead RM chose to dedicate the song to Drunken Tiger even by including all his masterpieces name in his lyrics. BTS has been receiving so much sht from others, their peers, their music industry, their seniors, western music industry, media... Those people were just jealous of BTS even when they were smaller. But BTS never did the same to others. Instead they treat others much better because they know the feeling. Now BTS slowly revealing how some people were sht to them. But it is after they made it. Not when they were receiving. Because they are not complainers.
*Some of the doolset lyrics are off because they're the literal character translation, therefore that wording in english, makes no sense. The video has a more proper "translations". Suga meant he over-spends on buying pens, because he's writing so much of his own raps and that the amount of pens he's used up, is more in numbers, than that person's fans. Basically, I've have more used pens from writing all this music, than you do fans.* and he's not so much talking about how annoying it is when rappers talk about their life in rap but rather whining and complaining about their type of lifestyle. Some have to have somewhat of an understanding of who the rapline is and their experiences, to catch some of these bars.
Like how you deep dive into the lyrics, so many reactors miss out the genius and their artistry with word play, it is a pity. Good work, hope you get to react to their latest songs Take Two, for their 10th Anniversary and written for ARMY.
BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan (translates to Bulletproof Boyscouts). PC Bang translates into Computer Room. You really can't fully appreciate their lyrics without knowing more about BTS, and the KPOP/KHipHop scene. BTS rapline have a background in the hip hop scene, underground rap (Suga), hip-hop (RM/formerly Rap Monster), and street dancer (J-Hope). They are real MC's and lyricists with an understanding of rap fundamentals. whereas most idol rappers have a reputation for being bad rappers, with poor flow or more like sing talking lyrics someone eye wrote as they sometimes end up rapping because they don't meet their labels singing standards. Idols have a reputation for being manufactured and more focused on the visuals of the members and BTS totally broke those stereotypes! Suga was saying that he uses a ridiculous amount of pens in his writing of lyrics/composition and that compared to his critics, he put in the actual work. You don't have to react (would certainly love it if you do, though), but you really should check out; ☆This Is BTS [Part 1] by Xceleste ☆BTS Contribution to Music by Xceleste ☆Crash Course to BTS by Suga and Spice ☆Who is BTS by Suga and Spice Or even just Nobodies to Legends [2019] by Xceleste. Their lyrics are often personal or commentary on the music industry/ Korean society, so you can miss a lot without that background. DOOLSET is amazing, but sometimes the explanations by DKDKTV or Bookish Theories are useful.
Also the "over consume pens" from SUGA's part means that he writes so much music that he literally over consumes pens. And that's actually very true, Yoongi is one of the bts members who writes the most songs, and he's always sharing that. And fun fact: he actually joined bighit with the purpose of just writing and producing songs, he didn't want to he famous right from the start
You're right! This one is my fave specifically for RM's and SUGA's flow and lyrics 🤩 They're also a lot more direct and aggressive on this one because it was a response to a bunch of underground Korean "rappers" who dared to disrespect them to their faces. Then those so-called "rappers" obviously flopped 🙃
I hope you finish the cyphers first, but a lot of people are excited for you to experience “Ddaeng” for good reason. Here’s a little bit of info that might be helpful before you get to it. Ddaeng is pronounced just “deng”. The doubled letter isn’t pronounced twice. Doubled letters merely indicate that there should a bit more oomph to the word. Think DENG as opposed to deng. Anyway, the genius of the song is in how many multiple entendres they manage to pack into the lyrics using that one word. I highly recommend that after you watch the lyric video you watch “Ddaeng Explained By A Korean” by DKDKTV. You will not get copyright blocked by them. It will blow your mind.
actually the double letters are a different letter in the korean alphabet and have slightly a "sharper" pronunciation than the single letter. it's almost like a mix between the "d" sound and the "th" sound. just fyi! :)
Idol rappers are kinda looked down by hiphop scene in korea because most idol rappers dont write their own raps, most idol rappers also are made to rap becs they cant sing. But RM and suga was actually from the underground rap scene who decided to become idols. So they got hate from rappers “for betraying hiphop and wearing makeup and looking girly*” B free was particularly hateful him and his friends invited the boys to an interview where they disrespected and said shitty stuff to them. (They were literal kids that time) RM and suga tried to tell them how they write their own raps and there was nothing much changed to the love of hiphop they have but they still got dragged through mud. Some big co idol rappers also targeted BTS as they were from a small co and powerless. This was an era were BTS was recieving shit ton of hate which they clearly expressed in their cyphers. They ended their cypher series with pt4 saying they dont feel like replying to haters directly anymore and that this is the last goodbye and remnant of anger in them towards their haters
cant wait till u react to cypher medley live so u can see Yoongi (suga) rap this live, its incredible. also please let vids play all the way through till the end. i know u only missed like 5 seconds at the end but yoongi was still laughing and he says one more word at the end u missed. never end a video short, especially crack (funny) vids cuz those usually have a hidden clip at the end.
Bangtan is BTS (BangTan Sonyeondan) it’s an abbreviation for International presence, they are known by this name in Korea. That’s why it’s important to watch some introduction video first as it will give you these fundamental explanations: 1. Who is BTS ? 7 members of Bangtan by Suga x Spice (focuses on individual members, it is from 2018 so a bit outdated, therefore the following are recommended for an update): 2. This is BTS part 1 by xCeleste 3. BTS from Nobodies to Legends by xCeleste 3. BTS Crash Course 2020 by Suga x Spice
love your reaction! now ive gotta subscribe ur channel! btw after u done with cyphers, you should react to 1.RM-Joke 2. AgustD- AgustD 3. J-Hope- 1Verse 4. Bts-Ugh 5. Bts- Outro:Tear 6. Bts- Ddaeng
I do want to mention that the number of views on a lyrics video isn't really a good indicator to the general popularity of a song because there are a LOT of fanmade lyric videos, and as the fandom grows each year, the number of fan translators also grows and not everyone goes to the same video or same translator's channel. I believe the most popular lyric video for cypher pt3 is by *Machi's* channel, which is at 4.8M views. When the video came out and the accuracy of the translation can also affect how popular a translation video is too or just random selection can affect a lyric video's popularity. Also, you can see for these particular songs, the number of views for cypher pt3 on BTS' official channel is much higher than cypher pt2. Just also want to mention that I've yet to see a collectively agreed upon preferred lyric translation video channel by ARMY. Generally, I see most ARMYs tend to recommend doolset's and muish's lyric translations but they don't do lyric videos, unfortunately. I, personally, only recommend that you do _NOT_ use *Jaeguchi's* videos, as they tend to forego accuracy of the translations or even of the singer in favor of speed of releasing a video.
I did some research and this one was the top one on RUclips. I’ve read some comments in the original vid about the overall accuracy and most of the ARMY seem to not have a problem with so I choose this one.
@@whatitdodave Oh, I didn't have a problem with this video though? I didn't notice anything too glaringly inaccurate about *JvJ_95z's* translations. I just wanted to let you know that there isn't a go-to lyric videos channel for BTS, so the view counts on a particular lyric video channel isn't a good indicator for what songs are more popular. Though, I did also want to warn against relying on *Jaeguchi's* videos in case you ever encounter them.
"attack on bangtan" is a reference to attack on titans, but bangtan itself isn't. their name is "Bangtan Seonyeondan" which means "Bulletproof Boyscouts" - shortened to BTS. But they often go by Bangtan amongst fans and also in Korea they're just known as bangtan
Okay so cypher 2 is a diss track. If you really want to understand it, you’ll have to watch Be Free vs Rm and Suga. BFree diss them at a radio interview and this was their response
Nice reaction! You can take your time digesting the lyrics btw, ARMY don't mind =) RM stands for Real Me nowadays, and his studio that used to be called MonStudio is now Rkive. The US is one of only 2-3 countries in the world who still use the imperial system (yards, feet, pounds, etc), the rest of us uses the metric. So the chances of BTS knowing what a yardstick is is low. LONG CULTURAL TANGENT: It's hard not to use one's own cultural and lingual framework when dissecting lyrics but one has to remember that South Korea would have different references etc. S Korea has a large Christian population for example, BUT their cultural values are based on Confucian ideals; it's still a bit patriarchal and respect of one's elders is a big thing. Even just being a year older/younger is still marked by different speech patterns and honorific. Men call other close male friends who are older than them (and big brothers) "hyung"--which basically means "older brother"--and close older women "noona" ("older sister"). Women on the other hand call close older women "unni" ("older sister") and close older men "oppa" ("older brother"). ("Oppa", "hyung", "unni", and "noona" can also be used flirtatiously which can be confusing to foreigners like us). So Suga, who's technically only ~4 months younger than Jin (the oldest), still calls him "hyung". Dropping honorifics is generally a big deal, although BTS are so close they sometimes play around with it. NOTE: this is an very simplified explanation of these terms; I, as a non-Korean-speaking European, can't really do it justice so if anyone wants to correct or clarify please do so! They also have different cinematic and literary references that anglophone counties might not recognise because of their tendency to disregard anything not in English. Sorry for the rant, I have more to say but I'll stop now lol
They were being attacked bc to them idol rappers are not real rappers, but rm and suga were underground rappers so..... He also called them girls and said they gave out to money.
It’s a stereotype that “idols” are just puppets of their company who can’t write their own songs and their purpose is to be attractive and appeal to fan girls so that the company can make money off of albums and the industry is pretty manufactured. However, as we all know, BTS has broken this stereotype so yea that’s why some people hate on idols
He is still RM but meaning is Real Man instead of Rap Monter. He was good at rap and was called Rap Monster but as he grew up he doesn't want to remain and be called Monster. You also have to understand that what they really meant can get lost in English translation.
I think I called suga “sugar” at one point 😂 my bad.
Its ok.. you will get used to call him suga aka agust d 😉👏👍
Fun Fact! Suga is a huge basketball fan, and played in high school. His position was shooting guard, and that's what Suga stands for.
@@JoobieLoobieSoobie Exactly! "Shoo-ga" or in Korean it sounds like "Shyoo-ga"

bangtan is bts, their group name in korean is Bangtan Sonyeondan, you’ll hear them say it like that a lot of the times especially when introducing themselves in award shows etc
J hope ; god of flow
Rm ; god of word play
Suga ; god of diss
I'm paused at the part where namjoons verse just finished and ohhhhh boy are you in for it when yoongi comes on
knowledge + curiousity + perseverance + insight + musicality = What It Do.
💜🌿👍🏽🌿💜
Yeayy.. finally pt 2. Btw do you pay attention these chyper series siga always the one closing the rapp as he spits dire and booom!!👏🔥💥
Damn they good,,,no one ready for the rapper line bts..
Because big hit somehiw change bts from hip hop grup become idol grup then Supreme Boi left the group because he didn't feel he was a good fit for becoming a member of an idol group,
Even after option out of being a BTS member, he remained part of Big Hit and still part of BTS become a producer and songwriter under BigHit Entertainment and produces/writes for both BTS and TXT. Supreme Boi infacts has been a producer and song writer under BigHit for over 7 years..
Am a big fan of these btd rapper line, again..
JHOPE, flow god, a free happy hip hop soul rapper
RM, word play genius, intellect rapper
SUGA, tongue technology, savage, strong, fierce and splits a fire, bold, some said rapper god in his unique way😉😎
I don't think Suga dislikes rap where they tell about their lives; he has his own AMAZING rap/song called, "The Last," talking about his struggles in his life, HOWEVER, BTS also uses their raps to encourage change (example: Ugh, Cypher 4). I think it's just the ones who just solely whine & are negative (B-Free..cough cough...)
when you're done with the cyphers, I recommend you watch Cypher Medley 2017, Suga performs his verse LIVE and the whole performance is so fire like we all wished we were at that performance
My favorit is Cypher 4. Thank you reaction BTS
Ohhh yes it just gets good with every cypher .....my favorite is cypher 2 & 3. The wordplay is so good !
Guys, pt3 is coming next😌✨
Thank u so much for listening to each verse without pausing!! They have a whole another power when u listen without pause! And thank you for checking the lyrics! BTS rap line are such INCREDIBLE lyricists, and they make a lot of language play, puns, korean references, it's sooooo interesting to get to understand what they're saying on their songs!
Yess cypher pt.2! I'm glad you're checking them out and getting more into their songs
just watch who is bts the 7 members of bts and nobodies to legends 2019 or how bts were treated unfairly in korea.....u will understand the songs ....the lyrics hold no meaning unless you dig deeper into where they came from....it will explain alot :) as with most artists ...yeah this stuff is from the height of being discriminated against...but they kept going :) carsh course to bts 2020 will explain why they have such a diverse fandom :)
@danni _05 i wont argue u with u humble beginnings .......i purple u
@danni _05 It's kinda outdated rn but think of it as an intro before Nobodies to Legends series. Back when Who Is BTS came out it was the best intro vid out there, anyway.
once you've listened to all cyphers I HIGLEY recommend the cypher medly they did for the wings tour. bts songs are always better live which is pretty insane if you ask me :)
that said I love that you actually take your time to go through the lyrics. for some context yoongi (suga) and namjoon (RM) were both underground rappers and they were looked down by their peers when they became idols (they were called sellouts and "girls" because they put make up on to go on stage, to some korean rappers hip hop is about "macho" culture, they really don't know sh*t 😅😅) and throughout the 4 cyphers they responded to their haters which by the way its a very bangtan thing to do. all their history and emotions are in their lyrics.
thank you so much for this vid, can't wait for the next one. once you finish this you might want to check their song "hip hop phile" and the live performance, I think you'll like it :)
take care!! 💜💜
Sadly cypher medley is not longer in RUclips BUT TOU REALLY NEED TO CHECK IT IS AWESOME THE ENERGY THEY BRING WOW is in dailymotion
This is my favourite cypher out of the 4.
can´t wait for cypher 3
If you wanna hear a song full of changing flows & cadences I recommend you to go check RM 'Joke'
Oh and please check RM's collab with WALE 'Change' too
Who else giggled when he said RM was our fav part
( I mean it was legit 🔥)
He wasn’t ready for Suga 🤣
RM is beast but I was like... but Suga's coming!
BTS lyrics are full of wordplay and metaphor so thanks for also checkin the lyrics.
this live was INSANE! you should check it oit when you can
Triptych is my fave Cypher
You would have watched the introduction to BTS first before watching their Cypher series - in doing so, you would have understood and appreciated the underlying meaning of their lyrics. 💜💜💜 There is a deeper meaning in their lyrics.
I kinda smiled how you interpreted the reference on Pride and Chrysler. They are analogies dissing their haters - if you got Pride (car), I’m a Chrysler (car). 🤓
Rm'a verse is on of my favorites! But yes, they crushed this Cypher...it gets better from here on out!
love the cyphers.. thank you
OMG!! my favorite cypher from all 4 !! nice reaction!
After the cyphers you have to check our Outro: Tear, one of my favourite rap songs of theirs
Every bts song is my favorite but This is my favorite cipher 💜💜
Thanks for liking our rap lines. I recommend JOKE by RM as well.. best rap song for me by far.
Yessss - I love all the Cyphers, but RM’s verse in this one is extra 🔥🔥🔥
Awesome reaction, enjoyed it!!
Loved you reaction ❤️ please react to 'strange' by agust d(Suga) and rm from D-2(suga' s mixtape). They talk about sensitive topics and the way they convey the message is really cool.
this reaction is amazing i was laughing so hard i had the same reactions while reading the lyrics for the first time
The thing about some rappers is, they can be complain about things in their rap, maybe in some situation that could be the best or that needed awakaner.
But those all come from good place.(heart/intention)
BTS dissed people with chain.
RM killed it 🔥🔥🔥
U should react to the live version 1-4🔥🔥🔥
You don't have to react (would certainly love it if you do, though), but you really should check out;
☆This Is BTS [Part 1] by Xceleste
☆BTS Contribution to Music by Xceleste
☆Crash Course to BTS by Suga and Spice
☆Who is BTS by Suga and Spice
Or even just Nobodies to Legends [2019] by Xceleste.
This one is my fave specifically for RM's and SUGA's flow and lyrics 🤩
They're also a lot more direct and aggressive on this one because it was a response to a bunch of underground Korean "rappers" who dared to disrespect them to their faces. Then those so-called "rappers" obviously flopped 🙃
Bangtan Sonyeondan is the full name of BTS. It means bulletproof boyscouts in Korean.
Ohhhh I was waiting for this one by you! Yessir 💜...oh and I was gonna say aren’t they so Wu Tang?
With this flow and backtrack, def giving those types of vibes!
I can’t believe I didn’t get notified 😭
This Cypher was Perfect All Kill! Please react to Ddaeng and the explained version of Ddaeng!!!!!
Bangtan is their name "BTS=Bangtan Sonyeondan"
too waited !! for other reaction
It will blow your mind.
actually the double letters are a different letter in the korean alphabet and have slightly a "sharper" pronunciation than the single letter. it's almost like a mix between the "d" sound and the "th" sound. just fyi! :)
Yes they love One Piece anime 🥰
Loved ur analysis, next ddaeng and ugh.
cant wait till u react to cypher medley live so u can see Yoongi (suga) rap this live, its incredible. also please let vids play all the way through till the end. i know u only missed like 5 seconds at the end but yoongi was still laughing and he says one more word at the end u missed.
never end a video short, especially crack (funny) vids cuz those usually have a hidden clip at the end.
Bangtan is Korean for the B in BTS🙌🏼 also the part from attack on Bangtan and Attsck on Titan could be both
Bangtan is BTS (BangTan Sonyeondan) it’s an abbreviation for International presence, they are known by this name in Korea.
That’s why it’s important to watch some introduction video first as it will give you these fundamental explanations:
1. Who is BTS ? 7 members of Bangtan by Suga x Spice (focuses on individual members, it is from 2018 so a bit outdated, therefore the following are recommended for an update):
2. This is BTS part 1 by xCeleste
3. BTS from Nobodies to Legends by xCeleste
3. BTS Crash Course 2020 by Suga x Spice
RM can spit English verses faster than me and that’s not even his first language 😭
love your reaction! now ive gotta subscribe ur channel! btw after u done with cyphers, you should react to
1.RM-Joke
2. AgustD- AgustD
3. J-Hope- 1Verse
4. Bts-Ugh
5. Bts- Outro:Tear
6. Bts- Ddaeng
I live how RM raps in Korean and then switches to English. How many rappers do that?
I hope you watch the cypher melody performance after all the cyphers
Nice reaction! You can take your time digesting the lyrics btw, ARMY don't mind =)
RM stands for Real Me nowadays, and his studio that used to be called MonStudio is now Rkive.
The US is one of only 2-3 countries in the world who still use the imperial system (yards, feet, pounds, etc), the rest of us uses the metric. So the chances of BTS knowing what a yardstick is is low.
LONG CULTURAL TANGENT:
It's hard not to use one's own cultural and lingual framework when dissecting lyrics but one has to remember that South Korea would have different references etc.
Sorry for the rant, I have more to say but I'll stop now lol
omg, you'd probably appreciate hip hop phile
They were being attacked bc to them idol rappers are not real rappers, but rm and suga were underground rappers so.....
He also called them girls and said they gave out to money.
👏👏👏
You could react to individual rap line songs like those on RM's mi tape, Agust D (Suga) and Jhope please
Reaction who is bts seven member of bangtan pleaseeee
It’s a stereotype that “idols” are just puppets of their company who can’t write their own songs and their purpose is to be attractive and appeal to fan girls so that the company can make money off of albums and the industry is pretty manufactured. However, as we all know, BTS has broken this stereotype so yea that’s why some people hate on idols
He is still RM but meaning is Real Man instead of Rap Monter. He was good at rap and was called Rap Monster but as he grew up he doesn't want to remain and be called Monster. You also have to understand that what they really meant can get lost in English translation.
RM stands for Real Me, not Real Man
@@shadaphoenix6198 right, my boo boo.
7 wolfs means they BTS members
Please reaction to JOKE ( RM )
🔥
