I mean every golfer has their own way of reading a putt,but unless it goes in all the time or like 90% then why take such a long time to putt? Cantlay is another who takes an age to hit it. I'm not professional but I get a lot of birdie's when I play,and I feel that is because I simply work out the slope (if any) pick a line and hit it,gives me so much more confidence rather than taking an age then still missing it anyway 🤔
No offence, but Lee Westwood isn't the first person I'd go to for putting tips. Half the time it looks like he's digging a trench with a 33 inch shovel when he's putting.

Not Shadd Bryson is pacing the putt initially in yards (steps), then he converts it to feet and then he adds one feet. He makes two steps and adds one feet (2 x 3 feet + 1 feet = 7 feet).

1 yard = 3 feet
2steps + 1 foot = 2*yards + 1foot
2 * 3 feet + 1 foot = 7feet (1,2,7)
