Ah, Vermillion gym, or as I like to call it, the Nightmare fuel of gym puzzles!!!

I know this is late, but I wanna inform you people. you can use fly to go to the elite four even if already traveled to vermillion city. And the pokemon still the levels when you fought the first time. It's a great place to train. After you get all the badges you fight the e4 again and they are around level 70. So, train up as hard as you can.
I love how you make different characters have different voices! lol it reminds me of Biff from Back To The Future :D

If you're headed to Saffron next make sure Veloz and Den are up for battle. Veloz especially since you'll be facing psychic types.
I think charmander and evolving it would be a good start
an easy way to get past the fence is once u find one button in the trash can look for the trash can that looks just like the one with the button

Out of pure luck I got past the electric fence in on my first try looking for the switches in trashcans. I looked into two and I got them one after the other

In emerald you can double battle in the gym
You should definately use a Snorlax. It's a GIANT tank and can take a bunch of hits, it learns some moves that it can use while asleep and can even learn rest to use rest and then keep attacking with snore or something, and it has a very high attack, too
Lt.Surge is officially the most badass person in Pokemon franchise. he participated in a war with his Pokemon.
In Saffron, they have a Veloz like yours, so watch out.

You can catch Mr. Mime at Route 21, which you get to by surfing down from Pallett Town. If you want to vary the team up a bit, it might be a fun Psychic type to use :-)
Don't forget to visit Oak at Pallet Town.

Recommend that u go west to celadon city . The gym is a grass type gym. Perfect for zuko and Veloz to get buffed up :)
Also, in order to battle Misty, you need to go to the Power Plant then back to Cerulean, battle a Team rocket member on Nugget bridge, retrieve the missing part in the gym, and head back to the Power Plant.

Well, if you do use a Kanto, I'd suggest going to the Safari Zone and catching a Chansey. It may be incredibly rare, but it is the best special tank you can get in the game, plus it can learn some good moves.

I first fought Sabrina and pwned her lvl 40 something Alakazam's ass with Signal Beam. Actually, my 4th gym in Kanto was Lt. Surge.
yes u are correct but he would just have to be careful and not get hit with a psychic type move soo both sokka and den can be useful :D
i think that you should swich aqui out for a starmie because you dont have much use for a ground type anymore and having a psycic type could be very useful but it is your desicion

that's true, but then again... there's not really a lot of choices for grass types... besides sunflora or hoppip.
keep your team, its really a nice team, if i had to replace one member it would be veloz, because the only gym hes useful in is the grass gym

If you do plan on moving different team members around, I would recommend a Bellossm. (Gloom's evolution when given a Sun Stone) Compared to Vileplume, Bellossm has much better Special Defense, and can take a few Flamethrowers or Ice Beams. Bellossom can also learn more moves, like Leaf Blade and Leaf Storm. Just make sure the Gloom learns Petal Dance first.

You should use sneasel as a new part of your team. It evloves into wevile who is very strong.
you should use shoomish it may be weak at first but when it evolves it's an amazing grass fighting type!

Hey! This is a remix of the Kano battle theme!
Your Gonna Want your Crobat up first, if you still have the moves: Bite,Crunch, and/or Night Slash, they are all super effective. Train it to Level 56 for a distinct advantage. With the Quick Claw or a Lum Berry attached to it Sabrina's Alakazam will be a trip down to China Town.
Brock's puzzle is the same as gen 1. Misty's is a little different. Erika has a maze. Janine has an invisible barrier and all the trainers look like her. Sabrina's gym is the same as gen 1. Blaine's gym is on Seafoam islands but not really a puzzle. Blue's gym has moving panels.
u beat champion I cry I have 2 pokemon in the 80s I lost on 3rd and 4th elite 4 I have typhoshen and celdi from event
I only have 8 gym badges. I will soon be catching Lugia. I have a Togetic, Gyaradose, Typhlosion, Ampharos and Victreebell.

That is true. Besides, Bellossm is probably the best of the Johto Grass Types. (Other than Meganium)
I would recommend that you beat the gym leaders in the regular Kanto gym leaders order from Brock to the 8th Gym Leader.

saffron city has a saffron dojo a fighting place if you beat all (trainers)of them you get to chose to get a hitmonlee or a hitmonchan
