- Back with another travel vlog - this time to Scotland! If you're looking for things to do in Fife, then this is for you! We were only here a couple of hours but managed to really make the most of it! We explored Culross, Culross Abbey, Loch Leven, and the stunning Aberdour Silver Sands. The next day we had time to pop into Dunfermline and Dunfermline Abbey before heading to Edinburgh. Hope you enjoy!!

Hi Stephen!! Thanks for watching! We honestly never seem to get good weather for our trips. When I'm stuck in an office, the weather is glorious and as soon as I book a trip - BOOM, storm clouds!! ahahaha - food was delicious. Especially in Edinburgh which will be my next video so you'll have to stay tuned for that!! Keep safe x

Regarding "scotch egg", The googlemiester says:
SCOTCH eggs originated in the Whitby area of Yorkshire in the late 19th century. Originally they were not covered in sausage meat but in a rich, creamy fish paste before being sprinkled with breadcrumbs. ... Hence, over a period of time, the term Scotch eggs was adopted.

Fife looks a great place, the snow part reminds me of Lapland, where I have just got back from.

2021 was an important year for me & couldn't have ended it in a more magical place 👍
Flew to Helsinki from London, stayed there couple of days before flying north to Santa's home in lapland.
The contrast is amazing!!
Love salmon soup 👌
Visited an ice hotel, made entirely of ice..(constructed in August....melts in March) 😐 They have an Ice bar/Restaurant & also chapel for marriage, made entirely of ice. Hot berry juice is yummy.
Rode Santa's reindeer & also some huskys. 🐃
(For thrill seekers, like me,, recommend the husky) 👌
Then onto visiting Santa village & meeting the main man himself 🎅
Was an awesome experience & if you have young children, they will love it!!!
I did my own trip, flew with well known budget airlines & stayed a short distance away from the actual village.
Organised own day excursions.
Santa Village is free to visit.
If I had an extra night, would have tried to go further north, for better chance of seeing northern lights.but have seen them before as have visited all of scandanavia & nordic regions now...Finland was last place to visit 👍
Unfortunatly, this time of the year, you only get like 4 hours daylight.
Hopefully you can visit for xmas 2022!!!
I went week before xmas.
Only downside was getting covid shortly after returning home...maybe Finnish Sauna & jumping into the freezing baltic sea after, is not a good idea (great for health)....
but would not have changed it for anything!!
