There’s a wide mix of opinions on this topic. A lot of people can’t stand the celebrity fanfare who clearly don’t care about racing. But that happens at every major sporting event. Either way, F1 is growing in our estimation. which is great.
Miami has been crazy with the driver introductions and we can only imagine what Vegas will be like. But COTA in Texas isn't over the top like Miami is. I dont think this is destroying F1, but those driver introductions were so cringe.
I wanted to like Drive to Survive. It would be cool to see the drivers and Team principles in more detail, see behind the scenes etc. But I only got through about half of the 1st season, and just couldn't be bothered watching more. I found it so boring.
A question worth exploring. Most f1 fans couldn’t stand the fanfare and celebrity at Miami for the past few years. What happens when we get to Vegas? It’ll be 10x the showmanship which most drivers don’t seem to enjoy. The money is great for the sport and so are the new viewers. But the hardcore old school fans we speak with can’t stand it. Food for thought is all!
@@F1Breaking You realize most Americans hated it as well? Dont blame corps for weird marketing things. America is injecting a ton of $ into F1 which hopefully makes it better
crazy how it went from :
"Formula 1 is Dying" - during Ecclestone
to
"The USA Destroying F1" under LIberty Media.

You should mention drive to survive a couple hundred more times
