My final thoughts on this clusterfuck of a game. This video took a lot longer than anticipated because I wanted it to be complete and good. Hope you enjoy it. The community doesn't make me hate anything. The occasional youtube video is as deep as I get into the community outside of the game. I just think the game could be a lot better. It's fun as it is, but it could be a lot better.

Duels - Intense competition and 100% skill Brawls - My personal favorite, as it can feel both very welcoming when all players act honorable, and is very satisfying to destroy ganging honor-less scrubs. Elimination - Is expected to have no honor, as well as running to buffs *but* it is very nice to team with all 3 of your buddies. Dominion - I know these 4v4 game modes are overlooked, but if you're not a mindless idiot, it's a very big balancing act, boosting zones by sitting in them can help a ton, and you must juggle that with the special *KILL A BUNCH OF DUDEZ* zone, it's very *VERY* frustrating to loose though. Skirmish - I *DESPISE* skirmish. At least in elimination you're set up next to an opponent, in skirmish it's just a game of both teams throwing themselves at each other, I only play it to complete orders, but it's so infuriating! Like if you were assigned to execute heroes in skirmish good luck buddy, because either your teammates will steal the kill for you, or you'll be thrown off the cliff by the 3 centurions kicking you at once

It's so unique and fun sometimes that it draws you in, but it is on a one way ticket to being dead. It's such a shame and brings me genuine sadness. It's like going to e3 and they cancel when it's 3 hours into the event. It just plain sucks. It's so unique too. There is no other game with this fighting system and the uniqueness of the characters. I feel like it just got caught up in this toxic and bitchy community. Just my two cents on the issue.
Extremely late and not trying to start an arguement but there is a game with a combat system similar, if not more in depth, than For Honor. It's called Absolver, basically you have 4 stances and you customize your moveset from moves you learn by observing them (basically getting slapped by the move like 50 times) then your fighting style determines your exclusive abilities, the Kalt Method allows you to obsorb attack's damage if you time it right for example. I only downloaded For Honor because I played and enjoyed the fuck out of Absolver. It's only $20 if I remember correctly so if you can get past the fact that the only people still playing are pros then maybe it might float your boat a bit :)

I dont see this game dead on ps4. It takes unde a minute for a 4v4 match with medium activity. I think pc players switch games more often, or atleast plays more games at the same time, meybe thats why it feels more empty on pc. Gameplay wise, i love the combat and the tension it brings in 1v1 situation. No other game has done this to me, and i will keep playing this until its "dead". The big killer is ofc the connection, but i think that has enough coverage. I still love this game. And your content. Cheers :)
I would have honestly added the toxic community as a con to this game. People who don't like the way you play or who just don't like losing will quit on you, taunt over your dead body, or straight up send you hatemail. It in part is the reason why I quit this game recently. I feel like I'm having a great match and the competition is phenomenal, and then people will just teabag me or insult me. Like why can't we just play and have fun here?

Warden can have his attack damage but vortex fake into guard break needs to go. Every other thing can be punished but that made him impossible to punish unless you rolled. But guess what your stamina goes to shit and you are stuck with no stamina.

I fucking love this game. Granted, I've only been playing for about a week and a half, but it captures something quite special. The combat system is an astounding contribution to gaming. While there probably are certainly balance issues ... issues that I probably am not far enough in to experience. For me, I get dropped in to matches in about 1 minute, no more than 1 minute 30 seconds. I feel like when I lose a fight, I know exactly why ... I never feel like it was unfair. Maybe a lot has been fixed since you made this vid. Anyway, long story short, I fucking love this game.
It's ironic because I've always wanted to play this game and never got it. I just picked it up the other day on sale and between playing with friends, the announcement of dedicated servers, and this guys vids I've been loving every second of it
I got this game the day it came out. It was super fun, pretty reasonably balanced and I was REALLY good. I played the game every single day for the entire first season, and watched the game quickly spiral into fucking garbage. Over time, people began finding game-breaking exploits, and Ubisoft fixed things completely inefficiently. They buffed and nerfed characters inappropriately, and absolutely broke the game when the DLC characters came out. In the off-season, I took a break from the game. I had played it a lot and was glad that my faction had won, but I was exhausted. Whilst I was away and Season 2 began, I officially decided that I was completely done. The characters they added, despite me being able to beat them swiftly, are completely unbalanced, and players wasted no time exploiting them. The game isn't fun anymore. All matches are now is just vortexing, hazard throwing, and bleed spamming. Any honor that was there is now lost. "For Honor" is now an ironic statement.
SpiRos Ontic. I fucking hated centurion from the beginning (still do) but I dealt with it but now it seems this game has officially hit the bottom of the shit barrel with the release of season 4. I had high hopes for this game and still do sadly.
I am not surprised that the people that scream "FOR HONOR IS DEAD!" from the top of their lungs are also the people that play the game with dedication. Maybe it's because I've been playing WoW for 12 years and I've seen people doing the same thing for.... well, 12 years.

I love the game. It's not at all balanced and the low player count makes it even worse (Im pretty low level, prestige or rep or whatever 1 on 3 characters) but I get matched against some high levels who hand me my arse. On those occasions, I've rage quitted. But when you're doing well, getting in a good combo, and when you finally get that little weeb with your overhead smash and hear AD MORTEM INIMICUS! Before you flip him onto his back and cave in his spine, it's amazing.

I know this video is old now, but I absolutely hate whenever someone brings up this statistic. Mainly because it's not "active" players at all, it's described as "unique" players. What this means is that if you so much as booted up the game a single time within a time span of a *month*, you're added to that tally. Then people like Lash treats that single log in as "active players". The numbers given by the developers are purposely vague to give the illusion of a healthy playerbase. Because by all means they have the means to track player activity, that's how they gave the "unique" player statistic, but purposely choose to with hold information pertaining to average playtime or actual number of active players.

I fucking love this game. Granted, I've only been playing for about a week and a half, but it captures something quite special. The combat system is an astounding contribution to gaming. While there probably are certainly balance issues ... issues that I probably am not far enough in to experience. For me, I get dropped in to matches in about 1 minute, no more than 1 minute 30 seconds. I feel like when I lose a fight, I know exactly why ... I never feel like it was unfair. Maybe a lot has been fixed since you made this vid. Anyway, long story short, I fucking love this game.
It's ironic because I've always wanted to play this game and never got it. I just picked it up the other day on sale and between playing with friends, the announcement of dedicated servers, and this guys vids I've been loving every second of it

I started a week ago
I got this game the day it came out. It was super fun, pretty reasonably balanced and I was REALLY good. I played the game every single day for the entire first season, and watched the game quickly spiral into fucking garbage. Over time, people began finding game-breaking exploits, and Ubisoft fixed things completely inefficiently. They buffed and nerfed characters inappropriately, and absolutely broke the game when the DLC characters came out. In the off-season, I took a break from the game. I had played it a lot and was glad that my faction had won, but I was exhausted. Whilst I was away and Season 2 began, I officially decided that I was completely done. The characters they added, despite me being able to beat them swiftly, are completely unbalanced, and players wasted no time exploiting them. The game isn't fun anymore. All matches are now is just vortexing, hazard throwing, and bleed spamming. Any honor that was there is now lost. "For Honor" is now an ironic statement.
I feel your pain, I fuckin' hate Centurion. Requires zero skill, one grab and you're in an endless vortex chain of fuck. Wish they never made him.

i still dont get it, ik the game has some bugs but tbh its not that bad, hating it started out as a meme and still is going, i mean dont get me wrong i do rage when i die by a overpowered charecter and when a error happens while im playin or when it takes a min or 2 to join match, but i dont actually hate the game, it does pisses me off, but i still dont hate it, like i reached prestige master in cod bo3, maybe thats why i can handle when a game does some stupid shit, but like seriously, just think about it for a second, why do u even hate it, yeah some charecters are overpowered, but that just makes it waaaaay more satisfying when u kill them, and yeah it takes some time to get in a match, but not as much time as cod or gta or ufc or rainbow 6 or fifa, btw fifa gta and cod have some SERIOUS balance problems, and u dont see their communitys bitching about them, because their not toxic communitys, now dont get me wrong, for honors community isnt the worse out there, its just a really dumb meme that happened to blow up and everyone hoped on the bandwagon, like if this meme keeps going on it doesnt matter if the game will ever get fixed because the community will keep hating on it saying its dead and its still not balanced

I love the game. It's not at all balanced and the low player count makes it even worse (Im pretty low level, prestige or rep or whatever 1 on 3 characters) but I get matched against some high levels who hand me my arse. On those occasions, I've rage quitted. But when you're doing well, getting in a good combo, and when you finally get that little weeb with your overhead smash and hear AD MORTEM INIMICUS! Before you flip him onto his back and cave in his spine, it's amazing.
I actually like for Honor because it's fun, except that the new guys cost 15000

I know this video is old now, but I absolutely hate whenever someone brings up this statistic. Mainly because it's not "active" players at all, it's described as "unique" players.
What this means is that if you so much as booted up the game a single time within a time span of a *month*, you're added to that tally. Then people like Lash treats that single log in as "active players". The numbers given by the developers are purposely vague to give the illusion of a healthy playerbase. Because by all means they have the means to track player activity, that's how they gave the "unique" player statistic, but purposely choose to with hold information pertaining to average playtime or actual number of active players.
