Great Add-on.
The clouds are very realistic after installing the Reality theme.
In this video the Reality theme is installed.
Just enjoy the clouds... ;D
That's true I notice a HUGE performance difference after I installed it and I actually don't have to move the FSX default sliders, REX itself
will delivery an astounding environment !

@FsimulatorX You can change the sun textures, that is what is great about REX, it comes with around 50 cloud textures, 20 sun textures, 50 water textures, etc... you can pick the one you want to use... I use a small sun texture that looks way realistic.
REX is a "must-have" add-on IMHO

Yes it is a program, aroung $40.00. There is no theme you have to buy seperatly, its part of the game! Hope that helps. ; D

i have this program and i downloaded it from the flightsim store for £25 but you can get it on cd and download i thing for £30 but im not sure about shipping. The reality theme come with the program and you get many other great theme to and also you can make your own theme :)

no it actually helps your FPS by about 5-10 FPS

CFG file, its should find the way automaticly, after installing FSX, you should launch the game, becouse it create all configs for your system at first launch.
Also required Servise pack for FSX and Net framework.

VERY NICE! Im wondering. Can this program make just outstanding weather condidions? I ask becasue as good as it does its thing, I have installed Ultimate traffic 2 and Ultimate terrian X, and I would not want this program to overwrite any of that?
@Boeing737Channel I don't think your graphics card will be able to run it, try getting one of the newest ones, i personally like ATI much comared with NVidia. graphics cards nowadays are like 1024MB (1GB). but it depends on what you use a pc for, for gaming only, you should look for a Gaming PC.

Ich hab in manchen Gegenden durchschnittlich 5% mehr FPS. Aber ich denke dass es eher vom PC abhängt und natürlich von der Szenerie, mach dor also nicht allzuviele Hoffnungen!

Wenn man natürlich nur 15FPS hat wird es schwierig sowas zu merken, dass ist mir auch klar ;-)
Looks real nice but dont you just hate those texture buffer overun things where the textures vanish then appear again, totally kills the realism and all my g-cards have done it.

Question (REX FS2004): If you have made and installed a theme, where can I find it? It isn't in the theme list in FS2004 so where can you select the theme you have created?
I need help with mine, i pressed installed and when i was on FSX no effects from REX 2, all defult clouds and water

its a great addon,I would recommend it for anybody,im running a xps 600 with a P4 ,3,2 on a Evga 9600GSo 512meg card,and i get around 30-40 on Med high all around,,i love it

hey, i have a problem where when i click on "fly now" button inside REX essential+overdrive, it loads fsx for about 5 secs then says "a fatal error has occurred" my fsx works fine on its own and i have the latest version of REX (just downloaded it today) i have disabled all firewalls, UAC, anti-virus and re-installed it. it still comes up with the same error message. Can anyone help??? I went on the REX forums but im still waiting on account verification. somebody help plz
