For winter riding, I typically get cold air right at the neck level. will the low windshield provide enough protection to push the air up to the visor? 6feet tall here. I don't want a huge screen and I also don't want to be looking at a line (windshield no windshield) in my main riding view...
Can this easily be installed by a customer or is it recommended that you have a service dept do it? Where do the lights power come from and where is the button for the lights?
I have the limited Max 1000.I put on the low windshield and found the new mounting system to be garbage.The windshield constantly bounces off the bike unlike my older hard mount setup which was a rigid mount.I was talked into the larger deluxe windshield by the dealership that this design is better.Have not installed it yet.Right now not happy with the new design.Dont buy the canam windshields that are rubber mounted off the handlebars.Hope the deluxe turns out better.Will keep you informed.
Had this installed and tow it behind on a trailer and it’s hasn’t moved so not sure why people are loosing theirs ? The extra heigh windshield is to high as when you climb steep mountains of snow it hits you in the neck so I’ve ordered the high windshield. Only complaint is it scratches up easily.
Unfortunately the mounting system is JUNK, I spent $300 on this GIANT POS, 15 miles into my ride the left side mount clamp shattered and had to listen to my fairing flop around on the corridor until I was able to secure it with hose clamp at the next hardware store. NOW I can't order just the new clamp I have to order the WHOLE MOUNT KIT FOR $100 IM ALREADY $300 INTO THIS PILE WHAT A JOKE.....
Off topic but when can we expect Can Am to offer manually lockable front differentials? Would love to buy a Outlander Max Limited right now but I am not sold on the Visco Loc QE. Thanks
@@dosstheboss100 i'll wait for next year and the visco-4lok to be released on the rest of the Outlander line up. The Halo site just talks about their products for the SXS vehicles
DO NOT GET THIS!!!! COMPLETE WAST OF MONEY! dollar rama has better quality plastique , unless you leave your bike in the garage to look at it. this will set you back 1000$ can +a few hours of laber got this install at a brp dealer on my bike i give it 1 out of 10 1 because it looks good in the shop every thing is loose to star with it vibrates to no end cans beverage shake up and don't hold lost going down the road, the light got loose first ride , if you do any trail riding you need to avoid all branchs the the mirror are to wide. returning it for money back

How about showing us how to exchange the extra high windshield for the high windshield for summer when you want more air

Can you remove the black strip from around the edge and top of the windshield?
Can you use your cell phone in the gps holder?

Broke off the brackets on mine and have to buy the entire thing again, because you can't buy brackets alone
I just use a cardboard box but you cant see through it very well.
