Is that a round Truealert?
You meant the ceiling mounted or wall mounted? Oh somebody made the dot behind that wall mount unit
you call that an "inprovment?" its still not teaching kids the "stop, drop, and roll" its one thing to do all the required amount of drills, but if kids learn to walk out, this in fact could be leading to more danger, as you shoud know, a student should first drop to the ground to avoid smoke inallation. then open the door slowly. why don't fire coides inplement this?
MsMuskOxen: You do know they are all capable of visibly seeing fire right? If fire or smoke is filling the hallways most classrooms have windows they can evacuate out of or exit through another classroom! Plus "stop, drop and roll" isn't necessary if they are taught other ways such as learning how to avoid catching or touching flames.
If you are on fire then yes stop drop and roll if not then leave everything behind and calmly walk out(if it is a drill)
Your trying to act like you know what your talking about
We did not do anything for a tornado
I find it very upsetting that they focus more on fire drills than lockdown drills, I’m sorry but lockdown drills need to be a priority here also considering how society if right now
Both are important, both are too priority, they should both happen each month.
😂😂father and I
if the only goal is to do them once month, there's no use of doing them, as the practice is wrong, during a drill, people should drop to the ground, open the door slowly then at home, if a fire breaks out and a kid runs out of their bedroom and becomes trapped because that's what they been told at school?. may i sugust doing them once a month, as that is in portent but clearly stating "at home, in a real fire, feel the door, if its hot, do not open it, clearly, schools need to do them once a month.,
Getting down on the ground would be too slow in a large building full of a students, hallways would be crammed. The practice is correct.
Are you color your school ahead zero fire drills
