My Nan went to her GP with leg pain and breathlessness. They looked her over and sent her home. I found her dead on her bathroom floor 2 weeks later. 1 (a) Pulmonary Embolism; (b) DVT.
Annoyingly we all thought it was DVT the first time but when GP ruled it out we backed off. Didn’t actually know till now that all they did was look at her leg.
