I love how he just summons his own boss arena with that giant wall of waves
Haha - Thanks, glad you liked!
the ocean just be one massive boss arena
He’s Poseidon, he IS the ocean personified, the entire ocean is his boss arena 😁
Imagine how cool something like God of War could have been, if the gods were actually mythologically accurate to their powers according to the ancient Greeks!
Love that franchise, but no shot Kratos beats the mythically accurate Greek Pantheon, they are metaphors and concepts made into living creatures, with all the powers of their namesakes.
Imagine trying to stab the ocean to death, or trying to overcome the concept of storms, rulers, and lightning, or trying to break the momentum of a war between two massive nations single-handedly.
That would be what challenging a mythically accurate Poseidon, Zeus, and Ares would be like, respectively.
@@Mad_Heretek Kratos is just built different apparently
The big 3 are not the embodiments of concepts. Those would be the primordial deities. Remember, they had to cast lots to see what parts of the world they would each have dominion over.
Love how at the beginning he was just throwing the ships around for fun, then when shits really got down, freaking whirlpool
Thank you, glad you did! 🌊🌊🌊
I think something that is missed in this song is that Poseidon doesn’t hate Odysseus for hurting his son, he hates him for showing mercy, something that Poseidon just can’t do. He is trying to break Odysseus which is why he gave him that chance to apologize(to pass the blame to show that he is just a mortal, to be ruthless) Odysseus doesn’t, and thus just pisses the god off more.
Thanks for sharing your interpretation! 🙌
Well in the novel it states this as well. He uses his son’s incident as an excuse to inflict torture and pain on Odysseus. What started it I believe was how Odysseus refused to pay homage to the Gods for their victory against Troy. That’s what really pissed Posiden off
I love how Poseidon is constantly taking shape/falling apart into the waves again, looks awesome!
Thank you so much! 🌊🌊🌊
The fact that I've seen several animatics to this song but my jaw STILL dropped at the horrific destruction of the fleet and that following hollow silence. I hope every artist that has made stuff for EPIC gets really good animation jobs that give y'all lots of money and recognition for your talents because WOW, the way you made this fandom come to life!
IKR - This fandom is OP! Awesome song plus so many cool creators - Glad I could add to it and happy you enjoyed watching!! 🎉
This is so good! Love how Poseidon drags Odyssey underwater to drown him then forms an air bubble around him like no I'm not done with you yet
Thank you!! 🌊💧🌊
I love how Poseidon at 1:50 could have killed ody but he lets him live and in turn allowing ody to escape, ironically on the "you totally could have avoided all this had you just killed my son" line, amazing animatic deserves all the attention
Indeed indeed! And thank you!!
Man you really nailed the scale of the ocean with this, and the way Poseidon is kindof picking off ships to be a dick at first before he delivers the final blow in such a unique and terrifying way. Incredible work
Thank you thank you! 🌊🌊🌊
This might be my new favorite Ruthlessness animatic. I loved the wall of water. Really nice perspective work on that one! And the expressions convey the emotions so well. Absolutely FANTASTIC job - I'm so happy to see you've finished it!
Thank you so much!! Very happy you enjoyed! 🙌 Also feeling very relieved I finished it, haha
I agree! The different shots in this were so well done and really conveyed just how powerful Poseidon is. There really was no chance for escape until after Poseidon attacked.
2:09 can we talk about how good this scene was?
Despite now facing the wrath of THE Sea God, the crew still did their best to help their captain. Which makes it more heartbreaking when Poseidon killed entire fleet, expect Odysseus main ship with only 43 left.
Thank you so much!! 🎉 I tried to sneak in the Ody + crew interactions before we lost them all ... 😭
I love the ways Poseidon controlled the water and attacked Odysseus with it! The wall of water goes well with the water sounds in the background. This was incredible!
Thank you!! 🌊🌊🌊
The shot where he’s just leaning against the pole on the ship the absolute monstrous wave denoting the raw power of the seas is just… prefect *chefs kiss* bravo!
Thank you so much!! 🎉
In this version, it feels more casual in a way? Like Poseidon knows he has all the power rn, and he’s just toying with them. Which is a different type of scary, when you can that you’re enemy your isn’t even showing you a tenth of their power. Ughh, it’s so good, great job!! I love him forming and reforming!
Thank you so much!! Indeed, I wanted to show how vastly different the power levels were between Ody and Poseidon, haha.
I have seen a ton of Animatics for this song and every one has been a amazing interpretation of Poseidon and the carnage that is truly being conveyed here, But this is the closest to what I personally imagined what hearing it for the first time. The typhoons were truly an amazing detail and horrifying to imagine, i also love how not all of the ships are immediately wrapped up in a typhoon but rather a few get forcibly swept into it which I think would be almost scarier. Genuinely incredible work, please keep this up absolutely 10/10
Thank you thank you!! 🎉 Very happy you enjoyed it too, and that parts were similar to how you envisioned it too! I had this urge to get my vision out of my head so out this came, haha
The way Odysseus looks at Posseidon when he turns his trident to the fleet!!! AAAHHHH, everything about this is great, you absolutelly nailed it!
AAA - Thank you so much!! 🎉
1:32 I am IN LOVE with that "'cuz you're not even great" part! The way Poseidon's looming over harder and harder until he melts and soaks Odysseus. This actually might just be my new favourite Ruthlessness. And that shot of giant Poseidon with the even more massive wall of water surrounding the tiny ships... god you captured so much PERFECTLY of this.
Eyyy - Thank you so much!! There are so many cool takes on this song, so I'm happy you enjoyed this one too!
Each frame is a work of art...
Thank you so much!
I am speachless. the wall of waves, the dramatic sass, the water transformation. THE RIPPLE!!! I love this soo much.
Thank you thank you!! 🎉
This is probably the best Ruthlessness animatic I've seen so far-
I really love how he progressively killed them, starting with a few ships, then giving Ody a chance to explain himself, but when he turns his trident and Odysseus thinks he's letting them live, he actually sinks the rest of the fleet. And Poseidon's design itself is incredible, especially when he blends in with the waves and sometimes is giant versus a normal human size, and that he's such a drama queen that he creates a whole arena just for that.
I really hope Jay sees this, it's incredible!!!
Thank you so much!! 🎉 I enjoyed planning the storyboard to give that tension, so I'm super happy you enjoyed watching it! And yes, it'd be very awesome if Jay did see this, haha!
AAAAAAAAA THIS IS SO SO GOOD I LOVE YOUR WET HADES DESIGN :DDD
AAA! Thank you!! Also, hahaha- "Wet Hades" 😂
Love the frame at 0:53 where we're behind Poseidon looking down on the ships. We get to see how tiny they are instead of just looking up and seeing how big Poseidon is. The perspective instantly reminded of sitting in a bathtub looking down on the toys floating around and how easy it is to manipulate them, which is pretty fitting I think.
Thank you for liking that frame! 🌊⛵ That analogy is spot on - I wanted those types of frames to establish the scale, both in size and power, scattered regularly throughout, so we didn't lose that perspective.
Just- WOAH 😨 that was amazing!!
I remember watching part 1 and loving the water becoming the shark(fin) and then turning into Poseidon *and* the waves responding to his every move. And now that the whole thing is here- 😮 that was amazing- Incredible!
---
Some things I loved about this: (SPOILER WARNING)
- Poseidon constantly morphing with the water thought all of the animatic. He's everywhere, that terrifying. I already said that, but it blows me away every time I re-watch this.
- the shark consisting of actual water !! They're swimming with the shark, that is the ocean (that is Poseidon), they are in danger. 😅
- that one scene at 1:30 when Poseidon over leans over Odysseus, disappears and then reappears through the water. God the timing is brilliant there.
- the way the ocean split apart, help that's terrifying. I don't even have a fear of the ocean *but that would be horrifying.*
- the differences in Poseidon's height/size: the way he's all big and intimidating and terrifying at the beginning and then switches it up to slightly bigger than Odysseus and his crew when he gives him an "out" in the form of an apology. Yet he's still towering over them (he's still in power here).
- Poseidon pointing his trident at Odysseus while waiting for an apology, and when he didn't get one he simply pointed it at his crew and said "you had one job, you blew it. Now watch them pay the price for it."
- Odysseus' face as he realizes what's about to happen right before Poseidon kil|s his men (when the trident is pointed at the other ships).
- that same scene still ‼️ if I was hearing this song for the first time and seeing these visuals, I would've thought Poseidon would've let him go when he moved his trident away, too. And then be just as confused and horrified when he pointed it at the crew instead and said "di€"
- 3:16 this establishing shot >:000 everyone's getting slaughtered and that one ship is clearly shown to be unharmed as they're forced to watch.
- the way even the teardrop becomes a ripple that then shows Poseidon in the reflection as if to answer the question. (_"when does a ripple become a tidal wave?"_)
- 3:45 the subtile movement of the pupils ahhhh
- And lastly that ending 😮
Insane.
You should be proud, this is amazing.
Oh WOW 🤯 - I was not expecting this long of a comment, haha! AAAA- Thank you so much for writing all that out!!! Super happy you caught and liked so many of these moments, big and small! I very much enjoyed planning out the compositions in this animatic, so I really appreciate you and everyone else enjoying them too!
Love the trident going from the neck to the rest of the fleet!
Thank you! 🎉
Ani flamma used to be my favorite Ruthlessness but this is def in the running for my favorite like omg you made it so freakin TERRIFYING and i honestly done know what to say there is too much to love about it!
Thank you! Ani flamma's Ruthlessness animatic was THE first Ruthlessness animatic that I saw and inspired me so much as I was diving into this fandom! So many cool creators! And YAY, glad you enjoyed it!
1:03 😮
1:37 😮
1:41 😮
2:27 😮😮😮
3:15 holy shit! 🫣🫢
3:47 😢
4:04 the reflection of Odysseus's face on the Triton😮❤
😂🤩🥳 Haha, thank you for the emoji-tastic timestamps!
Also 3:32 my face was a match for the guy besides Odysseus.
You know, the thing I like most about this animatic is that at moments it doesn’t quite feel like Poseidon is truly angry, merely that Odysseus forced him into doing this by his actions and therefore he must go through, sort of like Odysseus says in monster.
I'm glad you liked that!! I tried to keep his face a little poker-like near that part to the end, to leave it up to interpretation on how Poseidon truly felt, similar to how the song felt to me.
Great video! I love how Poseidon kept turning into waves and crashing into Odysseus' party. It felt like he wasn't just a god in human form but the very force of nature itself! Probably my favorite depiction of Poseidon so far! Also the use of Odysseus finding the bag of wind as a means of foreshadowing was great! He had it, but couldn't use it right away because of the wall of water preventing the ship from leaving. Then opening it when Poseidon drops all the water barriers, thinking he's already won.
Thank you!! 🎉 Glad you liked the foreshadowing bit as well!
I absolutely loved this. I love the effects of the water from when Poseidon shifts form.
Thank you so much!!
god the way you animated ALL the water was just GORGEOUS, the swirls. the shapes? the vortexes and splashes are so 😍
Thank you thank you!! 🌊🌊🌊
This is so amazing! Thank you for making it! I love how much of a drama queen Poseidon looks like here, it's all so good!
Thank you so much!! And haha, yes, my depiction of him ended up very drama-queen-y 😂
this whole animatic looks like charcoal drawings and I'm obsessed
Thank you! I also like that charcoal aesthetic, haha
omg this is so good !! the part where Poseidon brings up Odysseus in the water column and he falls back onto the ship is really creative ,this is so cool and you’re very talented :D
Thank you thank you!
I AM SPEECHLESS
the waves, the fluidity, the sheer danger poseidon embodies as they are truly helpless in every sense
THE WALL OF WATER CAGING THEM IN
POSEIDON TOYING WITH THEM
THEN JUST KILLING THEM WITH THOSE PILLARS
DEVASTATING (i love how u drew the waves so much)
JUST OMG THIS IS SO GOOD
AAA- Thank you so much!! 🌊🌊🌊 Happy you enjoyed watching!
1:32 Oh I LOVE how Poseidon leans over Odysseus there! It's a perfect threatening gesture to go with Poseidon reminding Odysseus that he's dealing with a literal god at this point! And Poseidon turning into water and just shifting where he is - this is so frigging good!
2:07 And Odysseus's men catching him! The details in this are incredible!
But dear lord, the sassy leaning at 2:32 👏 I live for that frame
And I ADORE how you depicted Poseidon's final destruction of the ships, it is so perfectly animated!
Thank you so much!! 🎉 I very much enjoyed crafting Poseidon's character movements, haha, so I'm glad you liked them too!
I love how much Poseidon slays in this! The shifting to waves is amazing!
Thank you so much!! 🌊🌊🌊
The trident slowly pointing away from him to his fleet was such a great touch 🔱
Also love how the waves are so ridiculously high and literally formed together to create his body. Great work
Thank you so much!! 🔱🌊🌊
There's so many amazing animatics out there, but artists just keep delivering new and fresh interpretations to these songs and I love it so much.
I think this one is special because you really managed to make me feel the danger Odysseus and his men are in, you made Poseidon feel so BIG and POWERFUL, he is The God of Ocean and you can tell, in contrast Odysseus looks both terrified and small compared to him, like he knows he has no way to stop Poseidon and is at his mercy, the god can raise big walls of water and throw their ships around like if they were toys, he knows he fucked big time.
I really liked that, the sense of danger, even if we know exactly when everything is going to hell you managed to build the tension until that one "Die" line and I loved it. I thinks it's really interesting too how you didn't only wait until that moment, I mean we see Odysseus save one of his men and also getting thrown into the water before that, the threat is constantly there against him and his men, they are standing against a force of nature and only waiting to see what he'll do.
Also I appreciate you keeping the serious tone on the bag part, don't get me wrong I completely understand why artist make that moment funny and it's well justified because the line sounds funny, but since your whole animatic was so tense and painful for the protagonist I think it's just right he kept the serious expression when using his last resource to save himself and the few men he still has.
There's also your beautiful artstyle, so pretty and expressive, I can't not mention it when praising this whole piece❤️ Thank you for taking time to create something so good.
Wow-- Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment!! 🎉🎉🎉 There are indeed so many awesome Epic fan creators out there - Very honored you like this one too!! I definitely enjoyed planning out the storyboard and crafting Poseidon's character movements to make Odysseus feel completely outmatched, so I'm happy you enjoyed those elements! And yes, that last Ody line was tough to figure out, for the exact reason you listed. Since I wanted to keep that continuity, I tried to keep his expression very pained, to contrast the projected bravado in his tone. Looking forward to working on more animatics to share!
Okay I **love** the high waves making a wall, but honestly the waterspouts being how the rest of the fleet gets destroyed!?!? INSPIRED. A beautiful way to bring that chaos up and in his face instead of at a great distance or down below. EVERYWHERE he looks has the bodies of his ships and crew. Beautiful design element!
Eeey - Thank you so much for enjoying that design choice!! 🌊🌊🌊 I very much wanted to push a complete sense of helplessness on poor Odysseus at that moment, and putting him in the front row seat to an inescapable spectacle was the end result. 🥲
I love your depiction of poseidon annihilating the crew, but the cuts to odysseus throughout are the best part. Sometimes spectacle can make us forget that the largest impact mainly reaches us through how the character feels about it. It's great you chose to include him in that very moment.
Considering it also removes some of the burden of animating more action frames, you have truly found a less is more solution.
Bravo, I hope you have an interest in depicting more of EPIC.
Thank you so much!! 🙌Go glad you brought this up! I very much wanted to splice in Ody's expression for that reason - to escalate the spectacle in a grounded way. I originally wanted to cut to Ody's expression on each "Captain", but then thought it fit better sync'd to whenever the crew was shown, since they were the ones doing the calling. Looking forward to doing more Epic songs!
@Tamathetamago I also appreciate the expression of odysseus towards the end when he opens the bag.
Generally, that's my least enjoyed portion of the song solely because of the tone of odysseus's voice. It feels like it lacks remorse, which takes away from the impact of poseidons' actions, and also makes odysseus feel cruel. I get Jorge wanted to include aeolus's theme, but this doesn't achieve whiplash. It is a negation of everything involved.
However, I can tell you attempted to solve it with his expression. It shows a deep pain beneath the front of confidence that I really wish his voice also hinted at.
If jorge really wants to keep in the aeolus theme, he could also try making it a moment of fury. I imagine that would blend better with the pace of the theme. However, that might clash with the character, as odysseus seems to respond with pain and rumination whenever he loses control.
I think out of everything completed, this is what i want changed the most. It would really elevate the song's standing for me personally.
@@AudibleApathy Thanks for calling that bit out! That part you're talking about was definitely a hard one to figure out when I was planning, haha. I also felt the way it was sang did feel insensitive, especially after I had crafted whole scenes of Poseidon-destruction. I eventually decided to lean into the idea that Ody might be so in shock/trauma that certain emotions just come out unintentionally insensitive and fuller of bravado, like he has no control over them -- Maybe like the nervous laughter after something bad happens, or when people accidentally laugh at inappropriate times. Expression-wise, I knew I didn't want him to smile at this moment, as it felt like a hollow victory, if he even thought of it as a "victory" - This was just him trying to escape and survive with the guilt, so I went with the pained expression that you see.
3:24 THIS IS HAUNTING AND IT LOOKED LIKE THE HANDS IN THE UNDERWORLD!
HEHE - Thank you! 🌊🌊🌊 Very much wanted to foreshadow scenes I had thought of for Underworld (if I ever get there, haha)!!
There is so much personality oozing from Poseidon! Absolutely stellar character acting.
Thank you so much!! 🎉
I love the concept of Poseidon melting into water instead of rising and lowering
Thank you!! 🌊🌊🌊
ugh, i love how you made poisdeon look so inhumane in this animatic - the way he shifted and moved so fluidly around, really represented the unpredictable nature of the ocean
Thank you!! Glad to hear you had that reaction too - The ocean is indeed unpredictable!
One of the best animatics in how it handles Posiedon being the sea and having total control of it.
If one day epic gets animated, one can only hope that the animator team is at least as inspired and dedicated as the fans.
Thank you!! 🎉 I hope so too - it'd be amazing to see Epic fully animated!
I love the idea of Posiden sweeping the ocean to the sides because it gives some context for why Odysseus didn’t use the bag sooner.
Thank you!! 🌊🌊🌊
my god the way you made poseidon just turning back into water is so amazing, him just moving around freely showing his power was just amazing omg
Thank you thank you!! 🎉
I love how you portray Odysseus’ expressions during his ‘all I gotta do is open this bag’ line as desperate
Thank you so much!! 🎉
This is my favorite animatic! I love how you really captured the change of pace between really dramatic scenes to more calm ones. And I just love the close up of Poseidon’s eye on 1.03, I feel it really helps to emphasize the emotions of the vocals, and makes Poseidon more humane in a sense. And I love how you also included a moment were Odysseus finds the bag and prepares it for later a neat detail. And I also love how your frames give even more deep meaning to the lyrics, for example when Odysseus helps his crew mate and Poseidon tells him that he isn’t as good as he thinks, or the part of breaking ice. And you got really creative with the water! Shots inside the ocean and the last scene… chef kiss, they are on Poseidon’s domain, nowhere to run just plead. And beautiful expressions, how Poseidon isn’t always angry and Odysseus pain in the end. So good, I just loved it so much, you did an awesome work.
Oh woah! Thank you so much for liking all those parts!! I enjoyed planning those moments, so I'm glad you enjoyed watching them too! 🎉
I was so ready for this after seeing the first part and you did not disappoint. I love the giant wall of waves forming a circle around the fleet, trapping them in and threatening them with this grandiose act of wrath, only for Poseidon to throw up those individual vortexes like he was harpooning the ships. Feels like he knew that bit of misdirection would make the actual moment he strikes stick out much more in Odysseus's mind until he finished him off.
Thank you so much for waiting for and watching the full version! 🎉 I enjoyed storyboarding those types of moments so I'm happy you enjoyed watching them too!
the water is just gorgeous, oh my gods. and that part when we see them from up where they surrounded by water wall- amazing. beautiful. unbelievably cool. also poseidon, his design in general, his appearance, i cant describe my joy. and reflections. gods, this is my favorite animation of ruthlessnes now
Thank you so much!! 🎉 Super appreciate you watching and liking it all!!
The way you decided to depict Poseidon destroying the ships and taunting Odysseus was super creative and stunning
Thank you so much!! 🎉
@@Tamathetamago you’re welcome 😊
Wow, this is INCREDBILE! The way you depicted poseidon as one with the water was so rad, and really got across just how formidable he is. I can't get over how dynamic you made the environment as well, what a great use of the ocean as a foe. Ugh. One of my favorite animatics to this song to date.
AAA - Thank you so much!! 🌊🌊🌊
Oh my GODS, I love how you drew the waves forming him as he looms over the fleet and Odysseus, and how he turns to water after saying “ aren’t even great “ this entire animatic and the symbolism you put into this is AMAZING
Thank you so much!! 🌊🌊🌊
This has to be in my opinion the BEST Ruthlessness animatic I've seen just far... beyond simply technical skill, the framing and intentional choices behind each scene is SO BRILLIANT and just visually STUNNING. It all felt out of an anime, to be very honest? Especially with how you draw water and air, and some of the shots, it very well could be the storyboard to an anime sequence--though the style I notice has some of those elements, is also in itself unique? And much more complicated than a simplified or homogenized animation style, especially with the detail on hands and clothes, which honestly just adds to my awe. (Me as a (less talented) artist attempting to say it's incredible and reminded me of an anime scene without likening your style to anime as I know how that can be a blow sometimes! I do not know if I am doing a very good job of this) This is gorgeous, nothing short of a work of art.
I just looked into your channel and watched the snippet of Remember Them, and seeing how beautifully you choreograph (and having read that far), I would die to see you make an animatic of No Longer You! You would do the song SO much justice, but all the same, I am really looking forward to your next animatic!
Oh wow - Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment!! Anime is very much an inspiration to me, haha - so you saying it has some of those animation qualities is good to hear! Also, thanks for suggesting "No longer you" for a future animatic! Very much a top choice song 🥳
I really like your Poseidon design. You're probably gonna have the inevitable comparison with Anni and Gigi but yours is really cool. I like how sharp his features down to his facial hair is when its usually flowy like water and I like how his eyes deviate from the standard way to depict gods with just pure empty eyes. Also like how you show Odysseus looking at the bag right after he gets out of almost drowning and how his reaction to his men drowning is pretty delayed. He doesn't look horrified till they're all gone and its sunken in what Poseidon just did
Both Anni Flamma and Gigi's characters are awesome too!! 🙌 Thank you for thinking that and watching!
Hands down the best animatic I've seen of this song. Your use of water dynamics and frame distribution is immaculate. Bout to rewatch frame by frame to truly take all the details in. Awesome job
Too kind too kind - Thank you so much for watching and enjoying it!! 🌊🌊🌊
this is really well made! i think a lot of other animatic creators treat the background and actual events of the story as secondary to characters, so it's super cool seeing how much effort was put into setting up the scene, adding rhythm and easy-to-follow action to its events. plus your water/waves are just insane. great work
Thank you so much! 🌊🌊🌊 I enjoyed working on the flow and composition of all the scenes, so I'm happy you enjoyed watching it!
YIPPEEEE IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!!!!!
AAA! Thank you for waiting!! 🎉
THIS IS SO AMAZING WHAT THE HECK? Especially loved the ending, wonderful job!!
Thank you so much!! 🥳
Fantastico!! Lo adoro!
I love the movement of the waves! And when they shape Poseidon... wow!
Thank you so much!! 🌊🌊🌊
insane work!
Thank you! 🎉
THAT WAS SO COOL, I’M IN LOVEEEEEE
THE DETAILS WERE JUST>>>>>>>
Thank you thank you!! 🎉 Glad you enjoyed watching!!
Yess I’m so happy to see this finished; it turned out absolutely amazing!! Even if not fully animated, it still feels that way because of how dynamic your poses are, and I also think it’s worth saying again that I’m in love with the way you’ve drawn the water. Gorgeous work!
Thank you so much!! And thanks for waiting! 🌊🌊🌊
I think this is one of the best animatics as you look at the portrait of the shire power of a god...
Glad you thought so! Thank you! 🎉
CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE FACT THAT MY MAN POSEIDON IS AN ABSOLUTE DRAMA QUEEN? I mean look ad the first minute, He slays so good he kill men fr
😂 Thank you for liking my interpretation of Poseidon!! 🎉
idk how to describe it, but there's so much movement! each frame was planned and drawn so well! this animatic is amazing!
Thank you so much!!
Wow, this was excellent.
Thank you! 🎉
This is by far the best illustration I've seen yet!! I can only imagine how amazing it would look fully animated❤
Thank you!! 🙌 That'd be cool to see too, haha
This is so amazing!
Thank you! 🎉
Your art is gorgeous. I loved it, thanks for sharing
Thank you! And thanks for watching! 🎉
I hope more people see this I think it might be my favorite and I've seen a LOOOOOOT of these at this point LOL
Thank you so much for thinking so!! 🎉
@@Tamathetamago I've been sharing it with people and posting it around, I hope it gets seen more your work on it was incredible! his power and control of the ocean was, for lack of a better word, truly EPIC
@@Cassiroll Oh woah -- asdfgjkl Thank you so much for sharing it!! 🤩 Super happy you enjoyed it that much aaaaa
Omg this is so masterful
Thank you!! 🎉
Seriously an exceptional piece!
Perfection, of the highest caliber.
Thank you so much!! 🎉
THIS IS FANTASTIC!!!
Thank you thank you!! 🎉
Just a comment for the video to get some attention because it deserves it sooo much ! It's absolutely incredible !!
Thank you thank you!!
I love the water tornadoes, oh my gosh! The way you draw water is amazing! And how devastated Odysseus looks? Dang! That's amazing!
Thank you thank you!! 🌊🌊🌊
Absolutely gorgeous work oh my GOD the ripple of the tear ;-;
Thank you thank you!! 💧
The part “youre not even great” was IMPRESSIVE.
Thank you so much!! 🎉
This is the best Ruthlessnesss Ive seen! Thank you for this!
Thank you for watching!! 🎉
I love absolutely everything about this! I could only dream to draw water as good as you did here, excellent work!
Thank you so much! Had so much practice of sketching water after this animatic for sure, haha 🌊
Chills. Literal chills.❤❤
Thank you!! 🌊🌊🌊
I love how creative you got with Poseidon's water-controlling abilities! The expression and character designs, the composition of each frame are incredibly cool. You did an amazing job!
Thank you so much! 🎉 Definitely enjoyed planning the compositions, so I'm glad you enjoyed watching it too!
I have seen a LOT of animatics for this song, but this one is by far my favorite.
Thank you so much for watching this one too and thinking so!! 🎉
I love how you used the walls of water! Incredible work!
Thank you! 🌊🌊🌊
🤩 IT'S FINALLY HERE, AMAZING WORK TAMA!
Eeeeyyy - Thank you Astal!! 🎉 Thanks for also hanging out on stream when I was working on it!
I’ve rewatched the first part a lot in anticipation for the full version! I love what you’ve created! Amazing work, it’s really inspiring!
Thank you!! And thank you for watching Part 1 lots as well!! 🎉
Let's goo!!!
Thank you!! 🎉
Wow, this is just incredible!
Thank you thank you! 🎉
This is definitely among my favourite animatics of this song! I love this so much! The "when does a ripple become a tidal wave, when does a man become a monster" is just so good! And I love how water-y Poseidon is! It's so cool looking! I also love the attention to him picking up the bag and I really liked the touch of Odysseus helping someone out of the water. I also got chills when the choir chants "Poseidon"! The timing and angle of those waves and Poseidon appearing in them! Amazing job! There were also a lot of cool close ups and angles. The way that Odysseus' face reflected in the trident was just so good!!!
Eyyy - Thank you so much!! 🌊🌊🌊 I very much enjoyed working on all those compositions, so I'm happy you enjoyed watching them too!!
really impressive, great job!!
Thank you thank you! 🎉
This is so good!!!! I love all of the little details that showed how much effort you put into this!!
Thank you so much! 🎉
That was truly epic.
Thank you so much!
I love everything in this animatic! The water choreography, the hint at the wind bag, Poseidon’s way of moving, the final killing of the soldiers! So freaking creative!🤩✨
Thank you so much!! Very much enjoyed planning the storyboard, so I'm happy you all enjoyed watching it! 🎉
Wow. Just wow. Your take on this was so creative. Wonderful job.
