So this is a classic medieval-style ballad that I wrote for the Altremer project. I also did some voice acting for it, so if you're a history-buff, please take a look! :D

Writing and recording songs for a specific purpose is pretty new for me, particularily the concept of deadlines! I had to record final vocals on this song with a sore throat, which you can definitely hear by the tightness of the higher notes. I also found myself running out of time recording the video, and so when the greenscreen glitched around my hair, we needed to upload it anyway.
It's a learning process. Please enjoy the song, and see you next time!

Merri blew us away with her audition and in the span of a few months completely embodied the persona of Blanche of Navaree. Her voice and performance adds grace, beauty, kindness, wisdom and fury to one of the most important characters on the show.
As for her songs... Close your eyes and let her transport you to the distant past and she will do the rest.
It is a joy collaborating with you and I hope the audience appreciates the depths of your songs and character!
