From what i know the extra space in beauty light wands' tubes is necessary. It’s made like that so the product won’t spill out of the packaging because of pressure

Personally i love the airbrush flawless i use a very small amount with a very dsmp beauty blender and it will shear out very well, less than a pea sized amount. I also cannot use it without the flawless filter underneath to give it glow

Honestly it depends on your skin type. I recommend looking into Paula’s Choice, SkinCeuticals, or Priori! Those are all great.
I agree on the magic cream it's too fragranced and doesn't feel very moisturizing. I think it kind of stings too.
