OMG thank you so much!! This is exactly what I needed as a beginner quilter taking on a king sized quilt. I wanted to make matching shams! One question… so a kind sized pillow is 20x36. Why did you cut the quilt top to 21.5x37? More specifically why didn’t you make the top 21x37? What was the reasoning for that extra half on the height but not the width?
You’re very welcome!! The reason I cut it that way is I didn’t actually have the pillows so I wanted to make sure I had plenty of room after quilting the front. I have made them before but never quilted so I didn’t wanted it to shrink too much. Hope that helps!
