Astonishing watch and beautiful professional review as always.
With huge appreciation
Nizar
I love the use of semi-precious stone for the dials. I would like to see more different types though as I'm getting tired of the 3 most used lately, aventurine, tiger eye, and malachite. Many other stones that are much nicer in my opinion. The tungsten is a great touch! Great vid as always man!
I picked up one of these a little over a month ago, and I love it! I wanted an aventurine dial with lume, but the bezel is what has blown me away in day to day wear. It’s very unique. I ordered directly from the company and everything was easy and seamless. This is a lot of watch for the price!
Now this is more like it. Its dial looks stunning, and the indices do not remove the beautiful midnight blue stary night dial. This is a versatile casual and dress watch in my opinion, and I'd like to see one in person. I like that it still looks like a functional Mans watch that you can actually tell the time on. The specs are respectable although I'd like to see it in a 39 or 40mm. The price is incredibly doable although my wallet gets pissed every time I come across a beautiful timepiece. Great vid Chris.
👍👍👍 Nice and elegant Watch 👍👍👍
Props for the tungsten bezel. When I saw the title of the episode, my heart leapt-I thought we had another tungsten-case watch on our hands, but no. As far as I know, that honor still belongs to Zelos.
What Zelos has a tungsten case?
@@neutronalchemist3241 Can’t remember the model name. It was a limited run, and I believe it was years ago that they made it. I’m not a metallurgist or a millwright, but my understanding is that tungsten is just ridiculously hard to work with, so Zelos probably thought “nah, I’m good”.
@@BoozewithNick They made a case out of Tantalum.
Tantalum is heavier and harder than steel, but not as much as Tungsten. 316L steel has an hardness of 140 Vickers, Tantalum 200 Vickers, Tungsten over 300 Vickers.
Great review Chris. Have one coming. Can’t wait to experience it.
Got it. Love it! Gorgeous!
I’ll have to grow gills before I buy another diver 😎! Nice watch btw.
Need to see Aventurine in person to decide if it's for me or not, but this is one of my favorites for sure.
Got this one and the Nereide Ultra black. Can’t wait to get them!
I like this watch. I've got my eye on the NEREIDE ULTRABLACK - 3921510 too.
Thanks Chris 👍
I have my eye on this company. I definitely like their style. I also like tungsten. I would jump all over a piece constructed totally of tungsten. A brand by the name of Bianchi had a chronograph model made of tungsten.
I don't like they release with this rubber strap as Chris mentioned (6:20) it makes the lug to lug as 55mm. It is too large for my small wrist (15cm). 😅
Very nice and unique warch. You should add a time Grapher to your reviews.
Professional, passionate and interesting review, as always. Chris, you have hints of Italian ancestry in your accent, is it so? The "z" in "Venezianico" is pronounced "ts", like in "pizza". The brand name is a combination of "Veneziano" (Venetian) and "meccanico" (mechanical).
Thanks so much for watching!! Any yes I do have Italian heritage!
@@WatchChris Ha! Knew it! You have this De Niro/Goodfellas vibe.
I wonder if the newer/smaller brands like Venezianico, Formex, Baltic, Steinhart, etal. will start to displace overpriced legacy brands like Oris, Longines, Baume et Mercier, and Bell and Ross, etal.. I have never understood how there can be thousands of dollars in price difference when so many of them use the same old Sellita and ETA movements. Except the latter are getting by on past glories perhaps.
There is also a 20% of coupon code out there for vene.
It's what I thought when I saw the review of a "Officine Tecniche" model "Svper".
The brand is Italian, but the watch is Swiss made (as reported on the dial), and uses a Le Joux Perret G100 top grade movement (68h power reserve, +-7sec/day) in a 300m diver with an original 40mm case, 12.6mm thickness, for less than 1000 €.
On the comment section someone wrote "If you want an Acquis, save for one".
Yeah. I can't wait to spend more than double that price (plus other 200€ if you want the bracelet) for an unadorned Sellita 200 with whooping 38h power reserve only because it has "Oris" written over it.
Adventurine is a quartz mineral, not glass.
Good Vene goood longines
Didn’t CW and Zelos make an adventurine dial?
is the rubber strap really quick release?
Sadly it's not. I have this watch with both the blue and white strap and also the bracelet. It's annoying to change them (but I got a lot better at it at least).
I prefer christopher ward C63 celest
What? now I'll have to take a look at the CW C63.
@@ajbones4207 you should
Chris this is a hugely problematic brand with a terrible rep in the industry, a moment or twos research will reveal disgruntled customer support groups and distributers cancelling contracts etc.
I'll look into it .
I'm not impressed with their watches.
Are these complaints related to their third kickstarter for the gmt watch? If definitely sounds like they messed up. I do wonder if they have righted the ship since then. I have bought two watches and quality and service was great for both.
@@Brynn-be9zr Theres facebook groups and community posts on forums, a cancelled Kickstater, bad watches, zero customer service, that microbrand store was really angry, the movements supplied were two or three years old already, everything that could go wrong, went wrong, misalingment was another one, made Seiko look good😂
You know Nivada Grenchen makes good watches but has awful customer service too. They’re famously known for their awful service.
First😅
Nice dial, but bad quality control and bad customer service. Never again.
