    Kalle, I learn something from everyone making watchmaking videos. From your videos I have learned to "leave no trace". That is to say, leave no marks that will show that you worked on the watch.

    In the US we call the profile projector an optical comparator.

    Always loved the look of these watches.
    I have the Peter Blake Dagger Hands Seamaster-last of the great Seamasters and much better build than my more recent Omegas

    Lovely watch! Always original over replacing parts, just don’t wear a vintage watch near water! Let us all know when you will be in London! Agree, she’s a great bass player and that Ronnie Scott’s vid on RUclips is a cracker!

    Hello Kalle, livestream wasn't running, it's been waiting for start even after restarting. At the end status changed to not available. Something went wrong it appears.

    Is that the missing index on the right hand side just above your head?. In the video at 59:25. When looking under the crystal at the salts inside the case. Maybe? PS I watch lots of your videos and im looking forward to your book.

    Kalle, how long do you leave a rusty stem in Argos Supreme?

    • @ChronoglideWatchmaking
      @ChronoglideWatchmaking  28 дней назад +1

      we remove rust from a windingstem with a rotation copper brush (be carefull for your eyes!), if there is too much pitting / material gone, you have to replace the winding stem.

      @@ChronoglideWatchmaking Not the answer I was looking for Kalle, If I remember correctly, in one of your streams you mentioned using the Argos stuff to loosening a rusted part up, probably a rusted stem? So I bought the magic can, and not a moment too soon, since I now have a Eterna watch on the bench with a stem completely stuck. It's been soaking for about 12 hours by now, but no miracles yet. That made me wonder how long you would let it soak.

    Some people tell me a Cosmic 2000 SeaMaster (cal 1012) isn’t worth enough to have serviced. I have 2, not running.
    So, after $400 service it’ll be worth maybe $3-400. Is that an uniformed opinion?
