I feel like This is Us was the last show to only air on network television and have what felt like everyone glued to their tv, patiently waiting every week, and rushing home to watch the next episode. TV like that doesnt exist anymore unfortunately. 😢

This was one of my fave episodes! First of all, I love Chrissy - she's hilarious, but also just very real! Sterling your laugh is something I will never tire from hearing! It just fills the entire room with sooo much joy. 😁 And when they started talking about the 3×3, which I didn't really know what what was either, but how excited Chris got. I just love the amazing bond and connection they share with each other!

Never met my biological father, raised by my stepfather which happens to be an alcoholic. Watching Jack be a great father on TV feels so comforting and I can feel loved through the screen. I don’t have the best relationship with my mother either and I’m the only girl with 3 brothers. TIU IS my therapy 😢🩷

Chrissy !! My God - you just zeroed in on why my daughter keeps such a HUGE wall up, even though she's in a decent relationship with a nice guy, she has that wall. And it's because - her Dad rejected her. Basically, he walked out and told me if I tried to get child support he would disappear... He never abandoned HIS boys though... I've counseled her, of course, and she sends ME Fathers Day cards, but still - there is that rejection hole I can never fill... The way you phrased it though!! That just slammed me back in my chair... Wow.. I wish I could hug YOU and my daughter right now... Thank you for opening up like that !! ( And you were ALWAYS my favorite on the show. Especially you and Justin together.. the twin thing.. Perfection.
I’m only at Season 3 but Kate got so, so much heavy material and struggle in her character story. There have been so few light, fun moments for her. Chrissy did amazing work.
I could not wait to listen to this episode of the podcast, and I will be listening to it again and again. I thought I love the podcast but now I can say I love it even more now that you’ve had Chrissy on she is just a shining star and such a gem. I hope someday I’m able to meet her along with all of you. Abbott Elementary is kinda like that for me now but not in the same way as This is Us. The best show ever.
