Early Uriah Heep. The Gems, the crazy stuff, must have head bangers.

Uriah was called Spice before, and producer Gary Bron introduced Ken Hensly to the band, this developed the main core of the group.
Featuring their first one called Uriah Heep, I have the N American and the English album-Very Eavy. There are two different songs on those albums,
The N American one has the song, Bird of Prey.
The English album has Lucy Blues.

We have always loved URIAH HEEP....!!! I remember that I recorded the song GYPSY live on a RAI 2 Italia broadcast in September 1971 played by a local progressive group STORMY SIX. I was immediately fascinated and over time I started two URIAH HEEP cover bands in Florence. Even today the group that I love most and play most willingly is THEM...!!! 🎶🎵🎶✌❤💔

When I was a teen I had an early portable cassette player and I used to ride around on my bike with it strapped to my handlebars, blasting Gypsy. haha That was probably the heaviest album out back then. Mick Box had a bigger sound than Iommi. I think Leslie West did too.

Also I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ?
